Be prepared to teach yourself the material. His lectures are useless. Spent about half of all class time off topic. Tangents about race/police relations, life anecdotes. Pay attention because you do not want to be caught off guard. His practice exams are helpful. I needed to use supplements. Go to office hours but do not expect it to be helpful.

Professor Hunt is a force of nature. He can be inspiring but at the same time tells you how it is. His class was difficult. You have to be present in class mentally and physically. He has a lot of hypos but as long as you are being attentive you can follow along and it really helps with understanding the material. He truly cares but means business.

I dont understand how people dont like Professor Hunt. Hes tough but he will help you learn so much! He was my favorite teacher by far and he even offers extra credit. His exam was all essay and short answer but he pressed you for everything it entailed, no surprises. His lectures are also super engaging, I looked forward to his class every day.

Won't get through the syllabus, goes off on tangents, but class attendance and participation is a MUST! Also, if you don't understand something, go to office hours. He can be intimidating in class, but truly cares about you learning the material. Provides extra credit... DO IT! Practice his essays that are on reserve in the library.

Prof. Hunt will challenge you like no other professor. Come prepared to class bc he will call on everyone. My initial reaction to his class was fear, after about the third lecture, it became my favorite class. Prof. Hunt will activately engaged you about the readings. He also provides extra credit which helps you learn the material in creatively.

Egotistical while in class. Very nice outside of class. Used the book for 7 cases everything else was randomly taught by him. Throw away your syllabus he doesn't follow it. Will cram after he gets passed the RAP. His test is filled with a million issues and it isn't about what you know but who's the fastest. Still waiting for my grade.

Everybody was right. He will not make it through the syllabus and you will wonder why you bothered coming to class. But he is interesting and some of his tangents are relevant in real life. He gives extra-credit but purposefully makes his final heinous. He will drill you if you take practice essays to his office but it will help on the final.

Comment:
I should have heeded the warnings of others. Hunt keeps his class lecture entertaining. His office hours are not particularly useful and he does not always show up for the meetings. His final is brutal. The multiple choice was standard but his essay was horrible, too many issues and he confused the roles of the characters within the essay question.

Hunt is a very good teach who believes in the old Socratic method of teaching and terror in the classroom. He does it with purpose, and genuinely believes that it will help you in future classes. Outside of class, he's a teddy bear who will help you any way he can. Inside class, he will demand that you answer in as a precise manner of possible.

Comment:
1. His manner in class is abrasive. 2. His exam essays are overloaded with issues. A student will be overwhelmed and wonder whether to demonstrate issue identification skills or analytical skills. 3. He wastes time chatting about topics outside the syllabus. When a professor next semester asks if you studied trusts and estates, you'd draw a blank!

Hunt is one of the best professors at this school. However, like any brilliant passionate teacher he goes on tangents and can/will fall behind on the syllabus. If you stay ahead with the reading and know whats going on you will have no problem doing well. He randomly cold calls so be prepared for class! He's stone cold and will humiliate you.

Hunt is a great professor, albeit a difficult one. I found his class challenging but very rewarding. Study his practice tests and figure out all of the nuances on the essays. Those that do will earn high marks on the test. Cons: he spends a lot of time asking everyone their opinion. In my opinion this was a waste of valuable class time.

Hunt is a great Professor. He is a hard taskmaster but what he teaches you will remain with you long after law school. He may appear hard but he is actually a very nice person if you get to know him. Try and see him during his office hours and try and write a paper. Trust me, that helps with your final grades. The paper i wrote bumped up my grade.

My whole class will fail the property sect. of the bar bc we learned absolutely nothing!! Missed over 5 classes then forced us to have makeups, where he covered nothing. A very nice man, but a horrible teacher! The whole class is filled with discussion of what other ppl think, not what you need to know. I got a good grade, but had to teach myself

He pretends to be a Kingsfield type professor (Paper Chase)but in reality it's all talk. Between his missing 5 classes and his talking about his son, he didn't really teach us much, especially when you speak to the other section. He might have been great in the past but that guy is gone. He should not teach something that will be on the Bar. AVIOD

Has high expectations of his students to come to class prepared. The key is not to fall behind. If you're the slightest bit behind, it will snowball and you will not be able to catch up. He is tough, but the material is tough. If you can master the material and do well, you'll be a fine attorney. Seperates the smart student from the memorizer.

People will try to scare you off of him, but they are probably mad that they didn't do well, or hated being called on. No other professor will challenge you like him, but no other professor will prepare you like him either. People that don't like him probably also never went to his office hours. If you do, he is very helpful and very nice. Take him
