Super nice teacher, very easy class, attendance isn't mandatory but homework was due every week and he doesn't take late assignments so you'll still need to attend to turn in the homework or you won't pass

His lectures take up the whole hour and 15 min. long class and the powerpoint he goes off barely has or just doesn't have any examples, he assigns a lot of homework that is very difficult and nothing like what he goes over in the lecture. He's a tough grader, and if you don't word things his exact way it's wrong.

Every day there is an hour and fifteen minute power point that consists of paragraphs of information to try and explain math, these power points have very little examples and if there are examples they are just as difficult to understand as the explanation. Every day after class i had to go home and reteach myself the material. Very picky grader.

When you first see Coop, you might think hes your long lost BoyScout instructor, but nope hes definitely your trig professor. He uses the word consequently like it even makes sense. His lectures are so boring that I have resorted to tallying up the amount of times he says consequently, in hopes of turning it in for extra credit. Only 2 tests tho:)

Comment:
His lectures in class are almost pointless because many slides are spent discussing pointless proofs of theorems instead of how to use the theorems. However the class isn't too hard to pass because he gives a practice test that is extremely similar to the actually test. Did I learn calculus very well? No. Could I pass his class? Yeah, testseasy

Very smart and nice guy. The class itself was very hard. The lectures are hard to follow. The homework assignments feature problems that were not in the lecture. He is a very picky grader. There is a lot of problems in the lectures and on hw that aren't on the tests, so its a waste. The tests are almost exactly like the study guide. Don't take.

Nice guy, & definitely knows his stuff. His lectures are pretty much word for word from the lecture Power-Points he posts online, so showing up to class isn't mandatory, although it is definitely helpful. He assigns a LOT of homework, but also a lot of extra credit. If you try, you can absolutely get the grade you want. Practice TestsActual tests.

Hes a nice guy but hy far the worst teacher i have ever had. The seemingly endless lectures are unorganized and difficult to understand. He assigns ALOT of homework. But the true struggle is not so much the amount of homework but his "process". If you go by the book you're wrong. He forces students to learn his own personal methods of solving.

Great professor. Has all of the notes on the power point and encourages you not to take notes in class because they just distract you. This made it easy to pay attention considering you don't have to right anything down. Lets you bring index card with formulas to exams.

Dr. Cooper was the absolute most boring professor I have ever had. His lectures made me fall asleep every class period. On top of that, he went too fast in lectures and used vocabulary that was only easy to understand if you were another math major. The only good thing about his class was that he graded based on your work instead of correctness

Cooper is a really cool professor! His class is a little bit challenging. He wants problems worked out EXACTLY how he teaches students to do them. If you don't use his preferred method, you'll get the problem wrong, even if you showed all of your work and got the right answer! As long as you stick with his methods, you'll be fine!

Doesn't use text book. Basically uses his own text book in powerpoint form. Powerpoints are far too long to make sence of. Speaks at a higher level rate than needed and should be expected to understand. If you are hard worker and love math this may be the teacher for you, but if your a little rusty and need things taken slow this is NOT FOR YOU!!

Cooper is a great professor. His homework is long and time-consumed; yet, it will help you get prepared for the test. He also gives out practice tests and posts the key online after going over it in class. The practice test is similar to the exam; you know what he would expect you to do. A lot of extra credit is given at the end of the semester.

Cooper is the most confusing teacher I have ever had. All throughout high school I was very successful in math no matter what teacher I had, but Cooper is just a disorganized mess. He gives copious amounts of homework and takes off points for the most minuet details. If possible I highly recommend taking a different professor.

Cooper is very disorganized, his hwsystems makes no sense at all. my class was on Tues. and Thurs. You'd get assigned hw both days and its due the following Thurs. but when holidays and breaks start to come into play everything gets mixed up and if you miss a day or two everything gets out of wack. He lectures math through powerpoints which is hard

Comment:
Dr. Cooper is unorganized. It seems that he assigns us material that is unfamiliar even to him. He struggles through his slides and we find errors constantly. This material is too hard for the amount of mistakes that he makes and it confuses students. He encourages students to ask questions but his answers are unclear. Avoid if possible.

Cooper is a great professor! Yes, his lectures can be confusing and go over your head at times, but lets be honest if you cant pass his class then you're just not trying. He grades all the homework so just do it and you'll be fine, and he gives you a test review thats exactly like the test, and lets you have a notecard on the test!
