I happen to have her during the pandemic. The irl interaction seemed welcoming, however, she does not hold back behind a screen to make you feel less than inadequate. Shes not approachable, I end up shaking before asking for help. Most of the knowledge gained was by wailey plus at best.

Cheryl does examples on a notesheet in class and does not explain them well at all. Doing book problems and watching the Organic Chemistry Tutor on YouTube is what got me through this class. She is available, but not helpful, in office hours. Kind professor, but puts tricky questions on tests that were not covered or on the practice exams.

In lecture she does easy examples on problems without explaining them. Quizzes are extremely difficult. Exams are on material we barely covered if at all. Study material not on the practice tests for exams. She can't answer students questions when asked. Kahn academy is more useful. She should not be teaching at a college level or at UWEC.

Hardest class ive ever taken, and honestly the Dr. muller should not be teaching this course. She does not explain things very well. In lecture she tries to explain the simple version of the chapter and then tests you on the most complicated problems. she just fills out a worksheet and expects the class to understand without explanation.

if i could give Dr. Muller a lower rating, i would. Lecture is watching her fill out a note sheet with no explanation. office hours are a waste of time and not helpful. The textbook has taught me more about this course than she ever has. Does not care if students pass or fail her class. Class average on exams are usually around 50-60%

In my opinion Dr. Muller is incredibly intelligent and genuinely does cares about her student. However, her teaching method can be unorganized. For example, she would often be working through a problem in lecture then get side tracked by another, unnecessary example. Overall I think she was fine and I would take her again.

Do all you can to avoid taking this class with her. Lecture is simply her filling out a notes sheet and students copying it down. Theres little to no explanation of the topics and her handwriting is very difficult to read. Shes not approachable and gives little help even during office hours. The book teaches better.

To be honest, I did not have an opinion on Dr. Muller right away, she had a little bit of a different teaching style that im used to for Chemistry. Overall towards the end of the semester, I found out that I really enjoyed her lectures. She does present a lot of info in lab and lecture, but all of the info is taught to make the class fun.

Does not explain things very well in lecture beyond what is on her printed notes. Gives little to no partial credit on exams and homework. Is available during office hours and outside of class and tries her best to explain things. I would not recommend unless you had her for Organic I, her teaching style is very rigid and does not go in depth.

Unlike most, I liked Cheryll. People are upset with their grades but honestly, you get out what you put in. I recommend doing all book problems and youll be fine. o chem isnt supposed to be easy so everyone should quit whining. She actually is nice during office hours and getting to know her. I would take her again.

Muller was not helpful for o chem. I took o chem 1 with another professor and actually enjoyed what I was learning, with her I didn't enjoy a single thing. She is very unapproachable and going to her office hours was a waste of time. Highly recommend waiting to take the class with a better professor.

I do NOT recommend Dr. Muller as an organic chemistry professor, she is unapproachable in office hours and her notes are confusing. The only time I liked her was during lab, where she is able to explain the procedure and answer questions well. Everything you learn from her class has to be self-taught using the textbook. Goodluck, its very tough.

Dr. Muller is a great organic chemistry teacher. You can really tell that she loves what she is talking about and because of that, she makes lectures easy to understand. Everything she assigns is useful and there is little to no busy work. Tests are long but not too difficult. I would recommend her above any other teacher for this class.

Dr. Muller wasnt great. To be honest, I learned a lot more from my high school teacher. Shes kinda scrambled all the time, and when you call her out on mistakes she does not take any time to acknowledge you. Very rude sometimes about that stuff. We are here as a team and I really dont think I would recommend her.

Muller is a good choice if you have to take a basic chem but there are a lot of better teachers. She is super smart and not a terrible person. She does NOT like wasting her time tho so get straight to the point when asking a question or such. She is really nice there are just better profs than her but like I said not terrible. you will have to work

Dr. Muller is so sweet. She can be slightly disorganized at times, but she is very good at teaching organic chemistry. She prints off the notes, so you don't have to draw out all of the molecules, which is extremely nice. Her review sessions are also extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone!

Cheryl never looks to see or asks if there are any questions. She flies through her lectures and barely gives enough time to comprehend what is being said. I don't think there was ever a time that I was not confused in this class, and I am someone who takes pride in their schoolwork and works very hard.

THE WORST! Super disorganized in lectures. Frantically rushes through the content. She writes everything on the board and her handwriting is AWFUL. I recommend doing the OWLs with your textbook out and reading as you go. She is an UNFAIR grader. 70% of class got <60% on final and she didn't curve it. She also doesn't email you back.
