David was clearly an extremely intelligent person, who had an advanced understanding of his course material. Unfortunately, he teaches like an angry mad scientist, who has lost his passion for teaching. While I understand this is a difficult class, I felt I should not have had to teach myself using the textbook. I scored well, but it was difficult.

IF you are paying attention and actually doing your work, he's a fantastic teacher and a very kind, understanding individual. The people who dislike him tend to be the ones who aren't really giving it their all and doing their own work. Several students were caught red handed with their academic dishonesty.

Teacher went on for long lectures in a dull uninteresting voice and barely made it relevant for the students. Constantly complained about speed of performing lab work even though for many of us it was our first lab. Lectures were dull enough to put an insomniac to sleep.

One time a guy fell asleep and almost fell off his chair during class. That aside, I actually enjoyed David's lectures quite a bit. He's a very intelligent man with a subtle sense of humour.
