Madame Orban is a genius. I appreciate her so much and she sparked an interest for translation. She is always willing to help and she's always there for you when you need her. Her class is pretty straightforward so follow the syllabus.

Madame Orban is probably one of my favorite professors at DePaul and the reason that I became interested in the world of translation. This woman is interesting, actually cares about her students, and is very understanding. If I could take all of my classes with her, I probably would.

Took Orban for French and for World of Wine. Both were absolutely fantastic. She is SO smart, cares about her students, and challenges you. She is hard, but fair. Highly recommended.

great professor! soo passionate! she is clear about what she wants. she appreciates particiation. fair grader.... she gives you credit for trying which is great for italian speakers with not-so-great grammar. she is also extremely helpful and lets u know exactly wat she wants so if u work u can get an a.

Prof. Orban is amazing! I never once missed a class. It seems a bit daunting at first due to the memorization but if you pay attention in class (and take it p/f) you will do fine. Best professor I ever had in college.

I liked her alot! She's really nice and is patient with you when you're struggling and stuttering your way through french. I've always been super nervous in french classes and she's a great teacher with people like me, I didn't feel nearly as panicked as i usually do!

She was a tough-minded teacher, but I still liked her. I think that I learned the most from her, as she spoke a LOT in only Italian. Overall, good experience, despite her strict views on attendance and homework.

Very good teacher. The tests were actually easy unlike what I heard. DO NOT MISS A CLASS THOUGH b/c it will affect you tests. she covers all topics on tests in class on power point and won't post up power point. Great teacher, very nice and enjoyable

I love Dr. Orban! She's extremely enthusiastic, intelligent, and even a little goofy which makes class entertaining. Her French is easy to understand and she is very encouraging. A friend told me, "She's the reason I became a french major!"

I really enjoyed this class and Dr. Orban shows she loves teaching it. The class is very difficult to get into, but take it if you can. You learn alot about wine and get to drink in every class! She is an easy grader, but if you don't study for the multible choice midterm and final you'll be screwed
