Highly recommend this prof. I was hoping to have him for AP 2 but he wasn't teaching it. He knows his stuff and knows how to teach it! He uses an outline for notes and a great study guide for the tests. Put in the effort and you can easily get an A. He's funny too. I could say much more, but not enough characters/space available in this review.

Comment:

Very easy class. He doesn't use power points, he uses outlines you fill in during lecture. If you record the lectures and look over the outlines you are good! he provides chapter reviews, do these because 90 percent of it is on the test. he is hilarious and makes his exams super easy! wish he taught A and P 2 :( I highly recommend you taking him!

Comment:

Roderick's lectures are all about "study guides" and note taking. He doesn't dumb anything down and expects you to understand what he is talking about. It is hard to keep up with him if you ask a question. He is a GREAT teacher for lab, just not lecture. If you do the reviews he gives you online then you will pass the tests.

Great teacher, very entertaining keeps you engaged. As long as you come to class, take notes and complete his study guides you will pass his class. Wish I could take him for A&P 2 and lab. Looooooooove him.

Roderick is awesome. He makes complicated things easy to understand. At the same time he makes sure you are really prepared. If you go to class and do the study guides you will pass all your exams. I recommend him for sure. Best professor Sinclair has.

Full of personality and entertaining lecturer. Not boring at all. Laid back demeanor and keeps things simple and to the point. Quiz every week in lab which make up a lab grade to go with lecture. Don't miss LABS!!! Record his lectures and listen to them again, will pass for sure. Also practice in Biosis. Great teacher, and taking again.

If Professor Roderick were instructing a&p2 I would have signed up for his class. He made lecture interesting by telling medical stories from his experience that related to the topics. The lectures are easy to follow. His study reviews are the pretest, so if you know the review you'll get an easy grade. I'm sad that he is not teaching bio 1242 sp15

I love Craig. He isn't the most interesting teacher to listen to but he adds jokes. He gives notes to fill in as he lectures and his test are 100% over things on his notes. His study guides are very helpful 80% of the test material will come off of them and you get 25 easy bonus pts. I highly recommend him for lecture but he sucks as a lab teacher

He has a good sense of humor and did make the class interesting. He gives you handout which you take to class and fill in the blanks. He also provides study guides and most of the test is from the study guide. In lab, he only covers about half. What he does cover, he covers really well. I just wished he would've gone over it all.

NOT helpful, won't answer questions about most things. Does not explain material well, very arrogant... in fact he knows everything. Tests are difficult even if you study hard, Just pick another professor... seriously!

Great teacher. Knows the material and how to apply it to real world situations. Has a real sense of humor but he might come across as a bit arrogant at first. Also, he takes pleasure in disgusting his students so if you are preppy this might be annoying. His best quality is that he wants his students to learn!

Took him over the summer and he is definitely all about the study guides! If you have any questions about his study guides he'll refuse to answer them since they are basically exactly his tests. The more we got into the quarter the more he was regularly 30 minutes or more late in showing up. Funny man, if not a bit arrogant.

This was a great class. His use of humor makes a difficult subject bearable even enjoyable. He is very clear about his expectations as long as you follow directions you'll do fine. Recording his lectures was extremley helpful. He is not very good about posting grades when he promises for those of you that like to track your progress regularly.
