What a great professor. He's probably the most practical teacher I've ever had. Always willing to nudge you if you get stuck on a project, and always ready to tell me where I can improve with constructive feedback. He could give a lecture on the phone book, and I'd probably show up to class because he seems to truly enjoy what he does.

Being successful in business or life is dependent on learning and adapting to change. This class covered the disciplines necessary to be competitive in business. Absolutely the best teacher the university has. Even though his assignments are laborious, they are meaningful. If he sees you are trying, he will assist. you must have open communication with him. Great person and funny! he does not keep the class just to keep the class. he says what he needs to say, then lets you go home.

Learned tons from Dr. Surry. He wants his students to succeed. As long as you are willing to put forth work, Dr. Surry will reward you accordingly. Doesn't allow any "bull crudding." Makes you feel comfortable to ask questions and get help. Super hilarious which really helps!
