TAKE HIM, YOU WONT REGRET IT. Hes a super cool/chill/ funny guy. He does assign a lot of homework but nothing you cant handle. Fridays in class work on Homework and as questions then you can leave. There are no quizzes. and homework is harder than test! So (literaly) just study the pre-test!!! Hes easy to follow in class! Great professor!

Comment:

Excellent professor really knows/loves the material. Go to class. The homework is harder than the tests but it makes the tests seem easy and you can collaborate on the homework. Seminar project at the end. Final is optional based on your grade. Loves to tell personal stories during class keeps it fun and light. Wants you to succeed.

Great! If you are lucky you might be able to take him for Cal 1, 2, and 3 and a few other classes. He usually lets out of lecture after 30-35 minutes. Talks about his boat. He explains things well, assigns weekly hw, and then there are three tests+final. He posts sample tests online, as well as the solutions. Book used only for hw questions.

Professor Arrigo was hands-down the best professor I have had thus far. He makes his lectures interesting by engaging with his students, and he is hilarious! He is a super nice guy and honestly cares about whether his students are learning the material. Don't even think to take anybody but Arrigo!

Dr. Arrigo goes back all the way to the basics to make sure the people that have had no Calculus before understand and "fills the holes" left by high school calculus teachers. He is extremely helpful and HIGHLY recommend everyone to take his class!! Taking him for Cal 2 and 3. Just all around great and the stories make you want to come to class!!!!

Arrigo is the absolute best math teacher I have ever had. He makes sure we know the information but never throws curve balls on test or in class. He is really funny and loves to tell stories which makes class interesting. Arrigo is very straight forward and a nice and helpful guy. TAKE HIM for any math class you can here at UCA

He is good. I had a really hard time with calculus but the way he grades helped alot! you have 3 test and then your final. your final grade will replace your lowest test grade. I was failing until i took the final which brought me too a C. I would recommend him rather than all others.

Gives it to you like a recipe. Very helpful if you don't understand. He likes to talk about his boat if you want to get him off subject. But he generally tries to stay on the subject and then talk about his boat. The end-of-the-semester project was fun, but get it started and done early.

I really like the class. He explains what he wants to see on the test and how to do it very well. He explains how it relates and its use. He is always willing to help. I didn't like the class, but Arrigo is cool and helpful.

Dr. Arrigo is an awesome teacher but he goes extremely fast. He takes the time to get to know you if you show that you are trying. I am not the best at math but I have done extremely well in his class. He is funny and always tries to make you laugh. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you want to pass...then you HAVE to go!

This was my second time to take him. By far the best math professor at UCA! He is very clear when explaining things and is always willing to help. His tests are fairly easy if you pay attention in class and do the study guide. Love his stories as well! Take him if you can!

This is my 2nd class with Arrigo. Best math teacher hands down. Makes the material very easy to understand. If you can do his study guides, you'll be fine on his tests. VERY helpful. Teaching is definitely his calling, he's very good at what he does. Highly recommended.

Taking this class during the summer was a great decision. I recommend everyone who has to take Cal. 2, to take it through him. Absolutely fantastic teacher. Very laid back atmosphere.

He is a good instructor. He has problem sessions every Friday. If you have a hard time understanding the subject, he is always there to help out. Highly recommend if you plan on taking MATH 1592, because he makes this class easier to understand for a hard subject.

I loved this class. He makes things fun, and he really explains thins well. If he confuses you, he makes sure and answers every question in great detail. He has problem sessions every Friday, which makes homework much better. Definitely take him if you can.

Arrigo is a GREAT teaher. Always available for help outside of class. Doesn't stay in class the entire time (CAL2 was 5hr. class). Take HIM. BEST math teacher out there (in my opinion)! U will understand everything and be fully prepared for Cal3 and any other upper level math classes. I loved his class so much, I wanted 2 write a thanku note
