He's a cutie and is really nice. AHe gets confused and makes some mistakes when working at the board but who doesn't make mistakes sometimes when doin math probs. three tests, daily short answer quizes, and two newspaper asignments. He gives a chance for some extra credit too. Probly the best choice for stats here.

He is so much fun, gets off topic easily, but it's cute b/c he has done so much in his life. His class is very interesting and easy. Do the work and you'll get an A. And it's not that much work. There's a two page paper due every other week. Easy.

He is really bad- in my class most people didnt care for him, he took forever to velcroe his shoes during class and almost always made mistakes which for those of us who get easily confused in math is well confusing! 3 tests and a final, daily quiz -only 1 question and he does take attendace

I am the worst person at math and got an A- in this class! there are quizzes every class which are like one question long but they help you to stay on track and know what to study, tests are not too bad, there are newspaper assignments which can get tedious, he is nice when he is talking about things other than math

Not too bad. A bit boring, but he is clear in his teaching and covers all the content well. A lot of papers and reading for math, but it isn't bad and if you do the work you will do well. Tests are okay if you just look over your notes and study a bit. Pretty straight forward class with a some work but managable.

VERY easy!!he def explains everything clearly & fully--yeah he goes slow but hes older. havent had a test yet so i dont kno how those r BUT he does give a lot of homework (but not 2 many problems per time) & there is a quiz basically everyday but if u look over ur notes 4 like 5 min ur good 2 go-- if ur bad @ tests heres a way to save ur grade

very easy, took calc in HS but was lost, it seemed to make sense in his class, although some people struggled. tests are SOOOOOOOOOOO easy that i got an A without a ton of effort, and i actually knew the stuff.

HORRID TEACHER. unhelpful, unclear, hard grader. homeworks due for every class,he grades them like tests so you get ripped off for doing all your work even if you get one thing wrong.you better know what you're doing if you take him becuase you will have to teach yourself. you've been warned.

I absolutely hate math and dropped out of 2 other classes before entering into Horwaths. He was, by far, the best and I ended up getting an A in the course. He goes nice and slow and explains things in class. He is getting pretty old and some of the classes are boring,but it's really not bad

I wish him on noone, he is a nice old guy that would be cool to have as a grandfather but awful as a Calc teacher because he can't teach very well and alot of the time he doesn't know what hes doing, avoid him for any class where the teacher actually ahs to teach liek Calculus

He is a good prof. Sometimes it would get annoying because he would start doing a problem and you would have already filled a whole page with the problem and then he would say "No,thats wrong" and then erase the whole problem and start over. His tests arent that hard.

I switched into this class after experiencing Schnieder who was a nightmare. Horwath goes nice and slow in class. Very helpful. Group quizzes every Wedn. & Fri. Only 4 Tests. Class is at times a lil boring, but he cracks me up with is weird stories and odd comments. Highly recommend taking Him!!!
