You'll hate life for the entirety of the class, tells awful jokes then expects you to laugh. Really bad at responding to e-mails (never email him ever, go to his office). Take a different class if you're not a bio major. The only plus is he's a pretty easy grader since he gives you no clarity on any projects you'll have.

Oh Boy!! So Dr. U is an awesome person!! He is a great man of God. HOWEVER, he is NOT a good prof. Yes, I passed his Bio151 and Ecology class, but I don't know how. I am a bio major so I guess I had too. His lectures do not match up with his exams. He does give you ample amount of time for the exams. Study everything from his slides

Dr U was a very nice guy for the most part, although he was kind of weird. His teaching styles and respect for his students were TERRIBLE. He took the entire semester to hand back our first 3 labs, and I still never received the last 10. When I asked for help, he refused. There was a lot on the exams that he never taught in class. Take Dube!

Dr. U has a loving personality and is funny in lecture; however his teaching style is TERRIBLE!!! His lectures have nothing to do with his quizzes and make sure you are a botany expert when it comes time for exam day! I recommend you take Dr. Dube! He is a great prof in the bio dep! But for Dr. U make sure you study everything!

his class is strange. the first half of the semester we learned different scientific philosophies, and the second half we learn about genetics, and somewhere in between we have to write two sci-fi book reports. Types out everything for you, but notes are scattered and hard to understand. Uses lots of movies in class.

Dr. U puts a lot of work into his lectures. his power points are colorful and he puts cartoons on EVERYTHING, good snese of humor. he is eccentric, loves the Lord, wants students to be involved with the lecture and loves to teach. i look forward to going to his class.

Very random, loves jokes. gets off topic very eaisily, but he's crazy and makes you understand the material. Tells a story for ever fact, really good for helping w/ memorization, and interesting. Not many profs, have such a great life story, and hey he looks like he just stepped out of "Newsies" :)

He is a hilarious guy. His running joke for the whole semester was as follows. Q)What was "Pirates of the Carribean" rated? A)Arrrr. He also would fly across the room pretending to be superman. Crazy guy. He gets off topic easily but he does want you to understand. Overall he's a good teacher.
