Poor teacher. Very arrogant and bad at explaining concepts and doesn't work good examples in class. Tests are extremely conceptual with very few actual application questions. Try to avoid if possible

Terrible Terrible teacher, if you do well he likes you if you don't he doesnt. He is unclear in class and doesn't give you enough time to do it. He assigns way too much online homework and the textbook is online which is god awful.

The course was not all that difficult, but he graded tough. I felt like I knew everything that was going on at all times, but ended up getting a B in his course. He is very approachable and a really nice guy. He definitely should ease up with the grading as it helps no one.

Here's the good news: he listened to the comments! In my Cal1 class, his lectures are very clarity and easy to follow. He's also approachable and knowledgeable. I did all the exercises in the textbook so I don't have problem w/ exams, I got more than 100% in all 3 exams and trying for overall A+ after final (yup he had extra credit questions)

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! This teacher is a self centered, egotistical man who believes only he is right. If you make opposition to him in class, he will begin to not like you. Assigns way to much homework (one HW was 5 hours, no joke!). Class is boring as he attempted to have us do impossible practice problems. Grading is very hard. DONT TAKE THIS!

worst teacher i have ever experienced. i literally created this username so i could tell everyone that this guy should not be able to teach anymore. I got an A- in calc at my prep school so i said to myself, whatever i'll be fine, and this guy just flat out sucks. I should have listend to the comments below, i'll never make that mistake again.

Let me start off with putting the worh "Hypocrite" out there. He has a cocky, contradictory professor who is completely biased in his seminar. He prefers his students to be pro or anti-white people. You can never be in the middle. "Race and Class" seminar students will understand. He smells and I can't wait until he's gone next semester.

Interesting professor but don't expect an easy grade. Stats 107 is a pretty boring course (the guy next to me fell asleep once!!!) and Cruz-Uribe is trying to make it fun as much as it is possible (You'll get to know Wanda the Waitress and Bob the Barista:)Tests are harder than it's necessary for this material.

if you want to actually learn math, he's a good prof. truth be told he isn't THAT harsh of a grader, and he's a lot more lenient then you would think based on the comments on here. most people i know who hated him were just sucky at math. dont blame the teacher.
