Comment:
Dr. Hackett is so wholesome. Lectures are really easy to watch and truthfully all you need to pass the quizzes and tests. Book is super dense and you don't really need it if you watch the lectures. Quizzes and tests are easy, minimal extra effort needed for two papers, both which I got an A on. Take this class! You won't regret it.

I loved Dr. Hackett. I actually wish I had taken REL2121 in person just to get the full experience. Either way, his online lectures are really awesome. He's extremely knowledgeable, and he explains historical events and relationships in a way that's interesting and easy to understand. Overall, he's a great professor and seems like a nice guy.

I took this class for a humanities credit. This class was fairly easy. There are two big papers that I had to write but I didnt really try that hard and got good grades on them both. The weekly quizzes and exams are really easy because theyre all on quizlet. Overall I would definitely recommend this class.

Didn't care for the class itself but Prof Hackett is amazing. Easy A if you do the work and he is very easily accessible. He actually cares about his students and wants them to do well

For a UF required course, Dr. Hackett makes the course so much easier. He cancels class and ENDS EARLY. He gets through all the material. As someone who sleeps through lectures, he kept my interest and had guest speakers if someone was more knowledgeable. THE ESSAY is so important. DO the extra credit or you won't get an A. TA messed me up out of A

Professor Hackett really made my Good Life class interesting. I heard other students complain a lot about their Good Life class but Hackett's lectures are interesting and make the material worthwhile to learn. As long as you go into the class with an open mind you'll get something out of the class. Attendance is a good part of your final grade.

I took this class online, and while it was an easy class to take, the textbook he uses is so outdated and so boring and difficult to understand. There were two papers, and on the first one, he graded it so hard. Other than the papers though, the class discussions, quizzes, and exams were a breeze.

does not want you to succeed!! grades everything so strictly and intensely for an elective class! this class should be an easy A class but you definitely need to work for it

REL2121 (online) is a really underrated diversity class! Surprisingly interesting and a super straightforward class format. His lectures are good, he's a great speaker. Love the format of the class, very clear and easy: watch the recorded lectures, take notes, and you'll be good to go.

I took Hackett's Good Life class in the fall semester of my freshman year. His lectures were very interesting because he incorporates his great sense of humor and he is very informal. He can be very inspiring and relatable. The class isnt difficult at all as long as you show up to your lectures and discussions and do the readings weekly.

Hackett's class is quite interesting. There are many readings throughout the course. Assignments can be time consuming. However, students can get good grades as long as they study and do their assignments. I would take him again.

Professor Hackett was definitely my favorite professor this semester. You can tell that he truly cares about his students, not just how they're doing in his class, but with life in general. He makes it a point to relate all of the readings back to our lives and is a really good lecturer.

I took REL2121 online for summer B and although the class itself was accelerated, it was still manageable. Quizzes come straight from lectures and book. Tests are made up of mostly quiz questions. In the beginning, the class is a bit difficult only because the material is boring but if you get passed that, it's so much easier and interesting!

Took this class because it satisfied my diversity requirement and it wasn't too bad. A lot of reading and lectures if you put it off and some of the quiz questions are a little tricky. There are 2 papers and the first one was a task to visit a religious service and it was pretty interesting actually. Learned a decent amount of info from this class.

Hackett is a great Good Life teacher. His lectures are entertaining. I haven't read most of the things in the class, but as long as you know the terms and the general gist of everything, you'll pass no problem. If you miss class, you'll definitely fail.

His lectures were very clear and it gets you a diversity humanities credit so that was good. Doesn't shove religion down your throat and ended up being very interesting and informative.

This class was killing me in the beginning to be honest. But after the first part of the class, it got MUCH easier so I was proud that I did not drop the class. I learned so much but the quiz questions are so irrelevant and tricky. The tests are easy because they're based off the quizzes. If you do well on the quizzes, you'll do well on the test.

If you need a diversity or humanities credit, REL2121 is pretty fun if you're interested in religion. I got to visit a Mormon Church and write a paper on it, so here's your chance to visit a religious service that is foreign to you. He was there for office hours when I needed him on two occasions. I got a 96% by reading all chapters and lectures.
