Great guy, extreamly useful class. If you choose to zone out, yes, i am sure this class can be boring, Although, as a professional in the financial services (sales) side, i can honestly say Dr Jones taught me a ton. take this class and pay attention; he might just show you how to make six figures right out of school (like he did for me)

Dr. Jones is a great man. He's funny, interesting and has a lot of relevant stories from his work experiences. As a teacher though he's pretty scatter-brained. His lectures are usually very choppy and it's hard to know what he wants you to know for tests. All assignments go through Blackboard which is a pain cause it's a really unreliable site.

He is really a good teacher, people may say he is hard, and to avoid taking him. The truth is, the class is very helpful in preparing your for the real world. If you work as hard as you personally can, it goes a long way

Dr. Jones is great. He uses examples from his wine selling days. Very real-world lectures. His exams are no joke, but if you take good notes you're fine. He repeats test material over and over throughout his lectures so you know what to expect. TAKE HIM

I graduated and still keep in contact with Mr. Jones. He genuinely cares about students who genuinely care about his class. if you find him hard you obviously arent reading the work or listening or skipping class because marketing is the "joke major" of the business school. Just advice for you all from someone who took him...study and work hard and you'll easily get a B or A. Hell I did and I def. wasn't an honor student.

Complete ****, I did bad on ONE test and went to him for help. He told me that I should think of dropping out because college is not for everyone and some people are better off just working for minimum wage. DONT TAKE HIM!

I find him fascinating to listen to but he makes you work for your grade. His tests are not necessarily on class discussion and he will only give you what you absolutely earn. he's a great teacher but he'd be better if it were your only class. Read the chapter before class & STUDY 3x/wk, it'll help
