Grading scale is ridiculous. Missing one class can kill your grade. Group projects bi-weekly. Students do the teaching. If he ever does lecture, he's just talking to hear himself talk. Wrote the book for the class, so he likes to talk about himself. Never actually been in the PR industry, just knows about it. Save yourself from misery.

The class is WORTHLESS and you get docked half a letter grade everytime you miss it! He teaches nothing in class, his notes are horrible and the tests are insanely long for having one every week and a half! Prepare yourself: IT SUCKS!

Horrible teacher! It could actually be a great class if you took it with someone else! Doesn't offer help to students...is always unsure about his own grading and requirements which makes it tough to do your assignments the way he wants! If you want to learn something take it with another professor if possible!!!!!!!

Dean is a good prof. Sure, he is about as fun as watching paint dry, but it's class.... not a day at the beach. This guy knows his stuff and really cares about his students' progress. He's always willing to help and talk. Attendance is really important.

Very boring. The others are right. Every unexcused absense equals a half a letter grade reduction at the end of the semester. So if you missed twice and had an A, your grade becomes a B. He doesn't prepare students for tests or define clearly the way he wants the final project written. He is so boring. Don't take this class unless you have to!!

Smart guy, has experience, but class is so boring. Attendance is huge though, so be sure to go to class. Tests are over text completely, nothing from lecture. Sadly you have no choice but to take him, so just go to class and keep up with reading.

Very nice guy, go to class, attendance will count. Lecture is filled with rabbit trails. Tests cover the impossibly boring and pointless text that is not covered at all in class. Tests are multiple choice, if you are a good guesser go ahead and take this class.
