Absolutely wonderful! Very thoughtful. Her feedback on papers was incredibly useful and helped me improve my writing. Her discussions were always interesting and rigorous. On top of that, she's a genuinely kind person. Pretty much a perfect professor. Definitely take her classes if you can.

D'Albertis is a wonderful teacher and person. She's extremely nice and helpful inside and outside of class. She directs class discussion very well and grades fairly. She's also very flexible about deadlines and extensions. I would definitely take her again if I had the chance.

She's an easy grader, but you'll have to read a book a day or something...she assigns a lot. She apparently doesn't care if you come to class or not, my friend missed over half of them and still came out with a B+. But she's really interesting and she's a VERY nice person.

I am happy that i'm in deirdre's first-year seminar. She is enthusiastic, cheerful at 10am, knows a lot about every book we read. She gives a lot of work and expects attendance at every symposium, but she also is willing to help with papers and is very helpful.
