Comment:

Hanson is a really nice guy. His class can be kind of dull because he only reads from powerpoints but if you pay attention the class won't be too difficult. His tests are somewhat ridiculous. You have to read A LOT and know everything. He grades the big project really easily and curved my grade. I'd recommend him to very hard working students!

Probably the best marketing professor at bryant. He is very nice and cares about his students. Tests are kind of hard, multiple choice and short answer. He grades the marketing project harshly. I would take him again, however unless you are very dedicated to the class, don't expect an A

Comment:

Hanson has got to be one of the nicest professors at Bryant. Class can be boring at points because of the constant power points, but they are helpful and the class goes pretty quickly. His voice also sounds like a hybrid of melted chocolate and silk.

BORING..reads through the slides each day, trys to make it more interactive here and there, uses short DVD clips. Group assignment sucks, and tests are multiple choice and short answer. Sometimes his multiple choice are misleading and ambigous and that might upset you. OVERALL the class was BLAH and I got a B, not too happy!!

Hanson is a really good professor. I liked that he had real world experience to back it up, little bitter he got his MBA from Babson but you can't be perfect right? He is a fair grader and is really helpful in keeping direction and its easy to talk to him if he is assigning overwhelming amounts of work he is willing to adjust he syllabus. Great Guy

I have taken him twice, for 412 and 363 and I love him. He has great real world experience and you cannot find a nicer prof. He is always willing to help if you ask. He really wants people to excel and get something out of the course. Exams are ok, just study. Other assignments are a breeze.

His exams are okay - I'm awful at multiple choice so I passed them with D's. Classes are SO boring - powerpoints every day, reads right off them. Personally, would not recommend him.

Look, his classes are boring and repetitive, he just reads off the Powerpoints, but you can zone out, and the class is easy enough that you can still easily get a good grade. And, I'm convinced, you cannot find a nicer male professor at Bryant, so even if you do bad I'm sure you could get help. He's not the greatest, but for an intro, he will do.

Really nice guy. Teaches through powerpoints which he makes available on BB. This makes it easier when it comes time to study. Rather have bullets thans paragraphs on tests and assignments. No major project, just in class group work on select chapter case studies. Exams weren't too hard and very fair grader. Would take him again.

This guy is great. He knows his stuff for sure and really wants you to understand it. He enjoys teaching, used to have a really good job. 4 easy tests and no hw, attendence is not that imp and teaches through powerpoints. Great dude.

Honestly he is the nicest teacher you will ever meet, and hes extremely willing to help with whatever you need. Class is pretty boring with his reading off the powerpoints, but hes not a total stiff, so he interjects some entertainment. Basic group work, with easy tests.... good take if u just want to get through marketing and move on

I had him for intro and CB. In intro, he seemed pretty boring. I wasn't looking forward to taking him for CB, but he changed in the year that I last had him. The projects get you interested and add an element of fun to the class. I'm glad I took him this year and he gets an A in my book.

Classes can be a little dull bc he of the PPT, but he is the nicest guy ever. He has explained his reasons for using PPT many times, he really believes it works. Two group projects and a journal article that are easy to do well on and offset the somewhat difficult exams...TAKE HIM
