I owe every educational move I have made in my career to this amazing professor. She changed my entire perspective on self-discipline and success. She is really annoying and very hard to understand. Does not keep things clear. She is also really rude. The study guide she gives is like 10 pages, which is the entire book. What a joke

if you lazy, not wanting to go to class, and still want a good grade? this is the class to take. I literally did not show up to half of the class meetings this whole semester and still got a A. only downfall is she gives out a MASSIVE study guide for the test. just do the study guide and you'll be good. all i did was get the study and left class.

Very helpful. Great teacher. Was extremely fair. Don't be rude in her class and use cellphones or talk. Also, side note: Tale the supplemental Instruction they offer (Easy A if you show up and go over the material).

Waddell knows her stuff. She is very good at delivering information but she tries to cover everything in a semester and some material gets lost. She grades on a curve, has amazing extra credit and is VERY involved in fitness and nutrition. Be prepared for in depth study guides (3 of them), she tells you SA questions ahead of time.

I enjoyed this class. The teacher was fun and very knowledgeable. The tests are very hard, however. I did not feel like the tests matched up with the lectures, but she does give you a study guide. If you make sure to complete the study guide, you will do well in the class. School is not supposed to be easy :)

Joanne Waddell is a wonderful teacher. She is very well informed on so many subjects. If you ask her anything at all , she knows the answer and will elaborate to make sure that you understand. She has a global understanding on health and she is up to date on all that stuff! Take her you will love her. She is very helpful about what's on the tests.

Implements news headlines and how these effect our health and way of life.Fun class.Tho tests were very confusing.So much info could be on the tests:dates,names,events,charts,drawing and labeling body parts in latin,matching,you name it.Somehow got an A,but unsure until the end!
