One of my favorite, most respected professors i have ever had the pleasure of taking a class with. His tests are hard- make a study group. but it is very worth it! Very nice, understanding guy!

Kelleys lectures are actually entertaining and interesting. He relates his material to things that help you remember. No book. and 3 tests. I studied the night before a did fine on the tests. No homework, just a discussion post every other week.

I learned so much from Dr. Kelley. If you attend his lectures, the tests are very easy. He is very laid back and personal with everyone, I actually enjoyed learning in this class. If you need to take a COM course or if you just want to take an elective, take a class with Dr. Kelley!

Great teacher. Funny, sense of humor. Doesn't require attendance or text. Jokes about things, but serious about tests. (not too hard for me). Great class (and took forgiveness too). Offers small amount of extra credit to help with class. Relates with students. I liked his values: respect and equality. A great teacher, a great person. Thanks Dr K!

Dr. Kelley really knows his stuff! Don't take this class looking for an easy A, because he wants you to actually know the concepts. It's discussion based, which I personally love. As long as you show up and take notes, you'll do well!

He is awesome, clear and concise. If you think he doesn't care, you probably should stop waiting until the last minute and go to him when you actually need help as opposed to trying to have him fix your grade when you've been ditching the whole time. He's an awesome teacher, quality man, great family, WILL help you, and easy on the eyes.

I think this is a great class. Very informative. Dr. Kelley made the class more interesting by talking about some of the communication that goes on in his own family. The family analysis portfolios were actually fun to do!

Pretends to be a caring professor, but when you try to talk to him out of class he acts like he doesn't give a crap about his students. He is a communication professor, but he need to practice what he preaches!!!

Conflict/Negotiation was a two week, five day a week, intense class. That being said, Dr. Kelley made the class enjoyable and very applicable to both interpersonal relationships and organizational settings. The midterm definitely required an understanding of the material, but was explained well. Great professor, great class and a quick 3 credits!!

Dr. Kelly is an amazing professor. He is there to help anyone. Clases may be a bit confusing at times but he is always available to clarify. He wants to help you achieve the grade that you want. All you have to do is talk with him. His lectures are amusing yet insightful. I would recomend his classes to anyone!

One of the most awesome professors there is. His lectures were fun and easy to follow because he throws a joke in here and there that help remember the information. He gives study guides and if you take good notes, you're bound to get an A on exams if you fill in the study guides. This man knows his stuff!!

One of the most caring people in the world. He teaches with so much enthusiasm for the subject and he always has something funny to say to help you remember the topic. Tests are only difficult if you don't take good notes in class to help you with the study guide. Dr. Kelley has a heart of gold!!!

This guy is a typical California beach guy, very laid back approach to teaching, you learn a lot about his wife, sons, and dog. Don't be deceived by this though, his tests are pretty intense. Essays, and he grades pretty hard. Wonderful man, I wish he taught other com courses, I'd take him again.

Very interesting class. Dr. Kelley is very helpful and very caring toward his students. iF you like essay tests the class is perfect. Has great examples in lecutres and makes it very easy to follow what he's trying to get across.One of the best com professors I have had. He is a huge asset to the school! You have to take him while you are at west!
