He's a great guy but might be a little to old to be teaching. Don't even think about asking a question because he can't hear very well. The man really loves his cat because he talks about it more than anything else. Would recommend this professor to anyone.

you'll definitely be teaching yourself. he yells. talks about his cat. crammed 3 chapters into the final week of school. if you have a question, don't bother asking, he can't hear you. a very frustrating teacher. no blackboard. homework, 4 test, and a final. i would never recommend him to someone taking this course for the first time.

He is old so he sometimes makes mistakes which is not good because if you study your notes then you are solving it wrong. He does break everything down and talks slow. Homework and quizzes (which he lets you work with peers) count as much as a test grade. If you ask him questions he will help you. He is really funny!

i liked the corny jokes about his cat and banging heads against the wall. Pay attention when he says he's got a "pain" it means it is important. Almost every class we received a handout of material to be covered in class and he adds some examples from the text. Home work isn't really heavy compared to other classes i have taken. he is a slow talker

Pretty good math teacher. Only complaint is that I got very bored during his lectures, as he goes very slow. But if you need to be walked through step by step, he is a great teacher.

He yells a lot in class. Talks way to much about his cat. That joke stopped being funny the first week. He will call you out in front of the class insulting you. I don't know what to think. Go with another teacher.

He's a great teacher. He does talk about his cat a lot and yells, but it's all in good humor. He does teach slow and I find myself fidgeting because I already know what he will say next (material). You will have no problem with his course if you show up. He does skip some chapters too.

If you need a teacher who will walk you through step by step and break it down, he is a great teacher. If you already know Algebra and just need a refresher, you may want to take a teacher that is a bit faster paced. Overall, very helpful and clear.

This professor is nice, however should no longer be teaching. He yells to get his points across, does not really answer questions. he typically waves his hand to ignore you and then once he remembers, if he does. He makes you feel like an idiot. He does not teach the material accurately. He skips a lot of material. I would not recommend him.

Took Intermediate Algebra. Nice guy. Reminded me of my grandfather a LOT. However, I didn't really learn any math from him. His teaching was incomprehensible, and I spent nearly 20 hours a week in the learning lab. Is a really nice man, but one of the worst teachers ever. Will take time out of class to help, and that is better, but group sux.

This instructor is very nice, but his teaching techniques are very bad.He would skip certain parts of the book and he would also not go through everything from each chapter.You basically end up studying everything on your own.We were also like 3 weeks behind by the time finals were coming around.He's an older man so he gets exhausted quickly, AVOID

He's a good teacher, but he yells to much. My class is early in the morning, and I don't like getting yelled at early in the morning. It's funny when he says he's gonna jump up on the desk and scream, or run around campus, or says he has blond hair. He could talk about his cat less and yell less, and I'd be happier.

He is s really good professor and he explains things really, really well and slow so that he knows that everyone understands him. He dose talk a lot about his cat but hey I love it when he dose that cause it makes it fun. and he also says that he gets pains a lot in my class becuase of someone asking a question that has a odvise answer

good teacher but he talks really slow and he shouts randomly. he also makes comments such as: "if anyone gets this kind of question wrong on the test I WILL DROP YOU OUT THE WINDOW!!!" it gets pretty annoying. otherwise hes ok.
