She is awesome! Took her for intermediate Spanish II, (hybrid course) and she is hilarious. She makes class fun and teaches very well. She is by far the best teacher I've had because her techniques really help you grasp the course. She is always available through email and really wants you to pass the course.

Dra Frye wants you to pass. Some like/dislike her humor, but she cares. Do the homework, pay attention/participate in lecture (I took hybrid course), show up on lecture days-she is big on that, and you are paying for it afterall! Final grade is midterm (40%), final(40%), hwrk/attend/part(20%). Freaks some out, but do your work & you will pass

Dra. Frye is by far one of my favorite professors! Spanish 110 was a required course for me and though I struggled, I really enjoy this class. She is very helpful and if you attend her office hours, she will help you out. She wants you to pass and do well. Also, she is hilarious and has a great sense of humor.

I took Dra. Frye this summer for Intermediate spanish 1. She is funny, nice, and very helpful. She wants everyone to do well and pass. She deems herself as the professor in the department with the most difficult exams--however if you study, the exams are not difficult. She is extremely fair and homework is easy and helpful. Would recommend!

Dra. Frye was one of the most influential people in my life. I attended WPU a number of years ago, uncertain about my future, only to become a Spanish teacher myself because of the passion Dra. Frye shared through her teaching. She is the best professor I ever had and you're lucky to be in her class!

I enjoyed Spanish 110 so much with this professor I rearranged my schedule take 111 with her too! Excellent educator, in fact one of two I've had at WPU that I would rate as outstanding! She's fair but helpful and WANTS you to do well, a rare commodity in a professor (and she's a tenured one at that)! Keep up the outstanding job Dr. Frye!

Fantastic professor! Doctora Frye does a great job of relating to the kids in her courses (even us old folks too) and exercises one of the highest thresholds of patience, candor, and professionalism I've seen yet at WPU. You can learn A LOT from her (so can other profs IMHO!). Pay attention, make the effort and you may even pull an A!! Take her!!
