He was an excellent professor with great command over the subject matter he taught. He excelled in his ability to make challenging concepts understandable to students. He was always willing to answer questions and offer help outside of class. Very few people would go to his exam reviews but sure enough he would be there for anyone that needed help

Dr. Senftleber is a good Chemistry 103 professor but this course is extremely too hard. I think that they should split the information up into more tests because it is just too much to have on one test. I barely passed with a B. If you don't show up for class you will not pass. If you do not dedicate a certain amount of time each day you won't pass

Take good notes in class and ask questions... never miss a class! He goes over the labs well beforehand and will explain things in a different way if you don't understand. Tests and online homework will make you want to cry. Do the practice exams because they normally are very similar to the test (especially the open ended questions).

Run far away if you want to keep your GPA intact. Tests are ridiculously hard with and the things you go over in class are 10x as in depth on the test. Average class test grade was sometimes in the 30's. Post old tests as study guide but is a big difference from the new test.

He is a nice guy but I terrible instructor. He went to indepth on things that were not that useful on tests and also the tests were given with 4 other chem. classes so you had alot of distractions during the test. I would not take this class if possible.

Dr.Senftleber is not the easiest of teachers by any means, but as long as you pay attention and do the homework all is well. he explains everything very well and can keep you interested even at 8 am. notes are thorough, just do not miss a class.

I love this professor! If you need help he is always willing to help out his students and tries to make class a little more interesting. The tests are extremely hard but if you work really hard you should do pretty good in his class! The best general chemistry teacher at the school I think!

Dr.S is great! You must work hard and show up to class if you want to pass.He knows how to relate the material to things we use in the regular world. That alone makes his class interesting. Beware of his exams! They are ridiculously hard. Be able to do the equations backwards for the exams. Lots of math!

Hardest class ever- unless you're a chem major, don't bother- he's incredibly hard and impossible to follow- attendance is big too, which stinks- college shouldn't be this hard! Good luck trying to pronounce his name too.

His exams are incredibly difficult. The only thing that will save you is that the labs are a huge part of your grade. He also does not like it if you miss class. Brace yourself!

He is really passionate about Chemistry, which sucks if you're not a Chem major. The problems are long and detailed, and the only hope for any decent grades are the lab write ups. The exams are nearly impossible.

Dr S is the most organized professor I have ever had. I had him for analytical chem 15 years ago and I hope he is still as good now as he was then. You will learn in his class.
