Honestly, worst teacher yet. She doesn't help at all as well as the online book which she recommends to use. Might as well just take the class online. She barely uses anything from homework assignments on tests which is frustrating. Her form of teaching isn't the best. She doesn't't use any examples from homework that may be hard during lectures.

Ms. Grady is a horrible teacher! Do not take her class! She grades you on attendance, so make sure you show up every day. She even thought I was using my phone because the way I was doing the problems wasn't the way she taught them. Don't waste time in her class

Mrs. Grady, has a bad rep but you honestly need to give her a chance! Although lectures can be boring she makes sure to go through everything and make sure you understand. At first, I didn't really like her, but she really is such a sweet person who is always willing to help if you ask.

Within the first 15 minutes you'll notice she moves her arms as if she was directing an orchestra WHENEVER SHE TALKS. She sounds like an AM radio. In order to pass this class you have to have a solid patience level of BOREDOM. Overall great professor!

Professor Lori Grady is awfully monotone and it's difficult to care about what she is teaching. The homework is always WebAssign and sometimes take-home worksheets. She's judgmental when you want to ask a question. She doesn't call on people randomly. Class is mandatory. She's nice but she's boring.

Very nice teacher who actually teaches the subject. Your going t have to do the homework legitimately and not use Mathways to pass her class. She is a very organized teacher who notifies you consistently about quizzes and test.

The people who say she was awful are most likely the students who showed up half the time. The material isn't that difficult if you pay attention, show up, and put the effort in! Most students who take her are incoming freshmen, and odds are they are still adjusting to college as a whole; She was a good professor, simple as that.

DON'T TAKE HER. Worst math professor I have ever taken a math class with. Possibly one of the worst professors I have ever had period. She never explained the concepts that we were "learning" in class, and made it uncomfortable to ask questions in class as she would make us feel dumb... take a different prof. if you can!

Grady is a sweet old lady but horrible at teaching. Her lectures are very hard to follow and uses weird methods that are hard to understand. Her homework is all on webassign which made the class bearable but I definitely would look for another option!!

Horrible teacher. I have to take this class for the second time and had the option of taking it in the summer,until I found out she's teaching it. Then that idea went down the drain. She lives only a few blocks away from camous,so don't expect class to be candles AT ALL. If you have to take her class show up. Doesnt help after class. Doesn't care.

Mrs. Grady is a great math teacher! She is very helpful and doesn't mind answering questions her students have. She is very caring, approachable, and she makes it pretty easy to understand the concept being covered. There was quite a bit of homework, but it was online so extensions on assignments were possible.

She is one of the worst teachers i have had. math is a very difficult subject. she would never stay after class even for a minuet. Their is one big group project. If you do take her,because you have a certain schedule issue, you should never miss this class. also, she assigns homework over spring break week as well.

The absolute worst math professor I have ever had. If you already struggle in math, don't take her. She doesn't really explain the problems and when you ask for help she just repeats herself and embarrasses you. What you learn in class is easy the homework, quizzes and exams are nothing like the notes you take in class.

she really tries her best to be nice but she can also make things complicated for no reason. as long as you ask for help she is willing to help you, the homework is pretty easy and every assignment is due on saturdays. She will also give out random works sheets so dont think about skipping class.

If you are a person that struggles with Math, I would not suggest taking Professor Grady. Her lectures are confusing and she is not clear on explanations. On top of the WebAssign homework you also get surprise packets that are homework as well. I highly suggest getting a tutor or going to SI or else this class will be very difficult.

Grady's teaching styles are old fashion but specific. She is extremely nice to students who show up for class and participate fully. A few students in my class skipped quite often and I saw that Grady was less willing to help them with the material. Overall I learned good from her.
