Miss Householder is the backbone of SWCC. Without her it would fall apart. The number of people she helps on a daily basis is astounding. Dont let the reputation hinder you from taking a class under her. Shes tough but once youre done youll know everything. She genuinely cares about her students and it shows.

I took BIO 141 & 142 with Miss Householder and she is a absolutely wonderful teacher. Her lectures are straight forward and she is always willing to help you when you come to her. You do have to put a lot of work into these classes but that's expected. Hands down best professor Iv ever had!

Ms. Householder is amazing. She explains things in a way for you to understand and if you don't she will work with you if you ask. She always had extra help sessions and wanted students to do well. I wish there were more like her! John Hartlan should take lessons from her.

Ms. Householder is hard, but you have to study. She doesn't like tardiness, absences or CELL PHONES! DO NOT get caught using your phone. I never did but one student in our class did and she will put you out of class. Other than that, takes notes & study hard. She'll help you as long as you help yourself..

Ms. Householder was the best teacher I had at SVCC. Out of all my classes she was the only one I can still obtain information from.. You HAVE to study and want to do good. She is one of the best teachers if you are going into the medical field because it gives an overview of how you have to study

im my opinion anyone who says shes a horrible teacher is just not willing to put forth the effort to pass. she expects a lot from her students and if they are not willing to work then she dosent feel they deserve any help (points wise) over all she is great if you are willing to put forth the effort to learn

If you are SERIOUS about learning, Ms Householder is one of the best teachers you will ever have. This class was the class from HELL, but she was more than willing to lead us out of HELL. Thank you Ms Householder I have a good job because of you.
