A little bit random at times but he is super duper nice. He lets you do your own thing and doesn't hover over you. He works on his own stuff in class too, but if you need ideas or help, he's always there. Really open to letting you do what you want as long as you have work to show at the end of the course.

the nicest guy in the world. made me laugh every single class. if the project was too hard for me i did it in my own way and still got A's on the project. attendance was not mandatory. as long as the work got done

I've taken fine art and art history classes with Gerry and he is hands down the most amazing professor I've ever had. He's very helpful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. I really can't say enough great things about him. Just take his classes. :)

Had him for Art Survey 2. He's a little scatter brained, but overall not bad. He reviews things so many times it's impossible to not get a basic understanding of it. Tests are straight forward- shows a picture of the artwork and you write a paragraph explaining it, etc. Not bad at all. He's not the best professor but you can't help but like him!

He is laid back. Even though you need to come to class every day, he does not have a problem with what time you come in or leave the class, just as long as you did your work. He likes to talk to the class and you could talk about anything with him, even if it's related to the class or not. He is the professor you want to have. Please take his class

He is a very cool guy. He is very timid but has a cool guy aura about him. His Art Survey class was not very interesting, but it was easy and I actually did learn some pieces of art. He is an incredible artist, you would never guess it when looking at him. Take Art Survey, do a little bit of studying, and have no regrets and all A's.
