He is a good teacher. It may seem useless to go to class some times but I actually really enjoyed it, he always opens good discussions. There are always readings due before class that you don't actually have to read but makes the discussion more interesting if you do. Only one sucky paper and the other 3 I actually enjoyed.

Oh how the class was boring and dry. He was scattered and seemed ill-prepared. He wasn't helpful and didn't explain things clearly AT ALL. On the bright side, he was a relatively easy grader...

Easiest English class I have ever taken. Taggart gets to know you on a personal level. Somewhat dry, but what can you expect of an English class. Easiest A of my college career.

Brother Taggart is a great teacher. I was not excited to take this class, but it ended up being enjoyable. He was really workable with the class, and I could tell his goal was to help us enjoy writing. I would definitely recommend taking this class from him!

Professor Taggart is so nice and can be pretty funny. His voice is soft and little monotone but he says very fun and interesting things. Read the book, take good notes, study throughout the semester and you'll be fine.

I really like Bro Taggart. He is hilarious and he is so interested in the Constitution and everything that he teaches. He lets you use notes on the test and the discussions in class are absolutely fantastic. However, sometimes it feels like a waste of time to come to class . You could get almost all the info you need from the readings.

Professor Taggart is a very nice, funny, and likeable person. His class is very discussion based and the only homework is reading the textbook and two papers during the semester. He also lets you use notes on the midterm. If you enjoy discussing the Constitution and Supreme Court cases, take this class.

Prof. Taggart is a great guy. He can be unorganized at times but makes up for it by being really flexible. After editing 19 papers in 2 days I talked to him and asked if we could cut the assignment down and he totally agreed.

I very much enjoyed this class. It would get repetitive just discussing court cases every class period but it got you thinking and stuff. Participate A LOT!! He likes that. We got to use notes on the midterm and final and I thought it was a fair test. Just include lots of details. Overall fair and enjoyable.

Professor Taggart is a great and likeable person. That being said, I didn't enjoy his class. I don't want to skew his ratings because most of the class seemed to enjoy him, but I found his teaching style to be confusing. The class is discussion based. He teaches about a court case, and then has students discuss it. It gets very repetitive.

Honors 300 is mostly students interacting with each other, but I enjoyed the class and found his input to be helpful. He can be dry and boring when lecturing, but that's the only negative aspect of him I can think of.

Prof. Taggart is a great guy! Some of the comments seem to paint him as totally incoherent teacher, but if you get to know him he's awesome. I had to take the final early and he helped a lot. Also his teaching style was to foster class discussion which was way more interesting and educational than him lecturing (but I liked his lectures too)

Meh. This class was was a constant source of frustration. He was disorganized and couldn't manage class time wisely. His midterm was a joke. It covered tiny things that we didn't cover in class (and many weren't even in the readings). The final's format changed completely. The class was interesting, but certainly could have been instructed better.

Exceedingly dull prof. Monotonous lectures, hard to sit through since they were 2.5hrs(for me). Got an A-, mostly because I'm a pretty good writer and did well on the essays/10pg research paper. The tests are full of difficult, nit-picky questions. Lots of rote memorization, esp for the first test (ie, had to know 49 Supreme Court cases).

Brother Taggart is a great professor but his grading sometimes seems unfair. It is almost impossible to get a really good score on something and is often hard to figure out why. He seems to be under a lot of pressure to keep grades down even if that means doing it without a reason.

Comment:
Brother Taggart has a good heart, but is not that great of a professor for MCom 320. Goes straight from book, but then has no idea what book is even saying. Grading is a joke. If it's not done the way he would write, you lose points. I would strongly recommend a different Prof. for MCom. You've been warned.
