Horrible professor, I have never not gotten an A in college and I got a C in her class. Her powerpoints are incomplete and nearly impossible to study from, nevertheless, the tests are basically all open-ended and she is an extremely strict grader. She was not helpful when I went to go visit her in office hours also. DO NOT TAKE HER, WORST TEACHER.

She is the best Prof I have met. She is careful and patient; she would like to listen opinions from students. Exams are not hard but need to be prepared.

Dr. D seems a little eccentric at first, however I thoroughly enjoyed her class. She has a phD from Wharton for cryin out loud, so she knows her stuff. 3 tests, weighted equally, that are a little tricky- T/F and mult. choice comprise 50% of them, while the other half comes from short answer, definition, and essays. Not hard, but not easy either.

Let me say Dr. D I think is the best. She takes the time to get to know the students if you take the time to talk to her. I had many problems this semester and she worked with me through everything. She gives her own notes which is going to be on the exam so be sure to take them. Four exams in this class and that is it. I will miss Dr.D!

Class isn't hard if you attend, pay attention, and do the reading. Three tests and a paper. She is a very nice, caring lady who will help you in any way possible to make a good grade and understand the material.

She is kind of a loon, but her class isn't too bad. She is very vague in her notes, which makes it a bit hard, but she doesn't go into the depth that the text does, so it's much easier. 3 tests and a paper that's pretty tough, but she grades the paper very easily. Alright teacher as long as you participate and go to class.

She was not an easy teacher like all of these people say. You would think she is, by the way she seems so nice at first. She teaches as if you already should have a background in insurance, although this is the PRINCIPLES of insurance. Her tests are so off track from what she teaches in class. She's not helpful at all.

Great teacher. Material is easy if you attend class and take notes. Tests are LONG, but easy. She gives extra credit each test that adds 3 points 2 that test. Really excited about material, encourages class participation, seems mean at first, but really nice if you participate in class.

Dislikes students who ask intelligent questions she can't answer. Grading, esp. when it comes to curves, is based on who she personally likes. Seems to be very full of herself.

Mrs. Doerpinghaus is a very good professor. She knows her material and doesn't make the class harder than it has to be. She is very understanding and will do anything to help a student succeed in her class
