A professor that actually connects with you and doesn't mindlessly read off their notes or a PowerPoint. If you are late to class the door will always be opened for you. He helps you realize that your grade on that paper/exam won't matter 5 years down the road. Parker brings reality to his teaching, all you have to do is listen and you will pass.

His lectures are boring and if you have questions and email him don't wait him to reply back. He gives just two exams, the first one was easy because he gave us a study guide and the last one was take home. Honestly from this class I didn't learn that much.

Easiest class ever. Literally failed the one test that he gave in class, but I did all of the online interactive assignments and still obtained an A. Professor Parker is a great guy with some great stories to tell in class.

Do not take this class with him if you actually want to learn about law. All lectures were pointless because he would talk about random current events and his life stories. Several classes were cancelled, nothing on the syllabus was taught and the book was a waste since we only used it for one test. He is very nice, though.

His lectures are pretty interesting as he talks from experience and gives us real-life scenarios. His grades depended on a few tests and some assignments online that he e-mailed us. Class structure wasn't always organized. He's very funny and very extroverted. I really enjoyed taking his class, even if I don't find Law to be interesting.

His lectures are absolutely meaningless. Top it off with the fact that he cancelled class over 15 times this past semester and you've got yourself one useless class. He also assumes you know nothing about how law works and loves to dazzle you with the basics. Don't recommend if you want a professor that's actually willing to teach.

If this guy is a practicing attorney he does not seem to have time to be professor looking that he canceled class at least 4 weeks in a row, he would come to class late every single time. All he talked about during class was movies and videos we should watch and expected us to learn just from the textbook.

Easy going professor, but if you are looking to actually learn anything this is not the professor for you. He gave us the syllabus a month late, with reading from the text book that he never told us about and expected us to take an exam on topics never disguised. I missed a class and emailed him 7 times to get the first assignment he never replied

Harvard-educated, practicing attorney. Great guy with really interesting stories, even if he plays fast and loose with the facts sometimes. Good class to take if you're just fulfilling a requirement, but you really have to teach yourself in this class if you want to learn, and the problem is, you can easily pass without even teaching yourself

Finally my $1500 spent wisely. A professor that teaches you real world experiences with wisdom and advice. He teaches you the important aspects of the law you need to know to succeed. I'm a junior so far this has been my favorite class yet. 100% amazing lectures. No one missed class b/c of this, no one on phones, just purely engaged students!!!!

Three things you need to know. 1) He is all over the place during lectures 2) Was there for the entire 1 hr 15 min twice all semester 3) You have to do the assigned reading to get a good grade as first exam is right from the textbook. 2 exams and take home final; no homework besides readings. Has interesting stories and "interesting" sense of humor

By far, one of my favorite professors at CCSU. Prof Parker never took attendance yet everyone showed to every class because we actually enjoyed his lectures. I HIGHLY recommend taking him!!

He is a very smart guy and is pretty entertaining. However alot of what we talk about in the class is unrelated to the material. The exams are tricky but he offers extra credit which you should def. do.

Parkers a nice guy, sarcastic too, but a good guy and wants to help you get a good grade. Tests are pretty hard unless you really read and take alot of notes, BUT he is such an easy grader. I read about 1 chapter in the whole book for the semester and still got an A. 3 tests, extra credit, and a take home final.

More than just a teacher. Outstanding Professor, doesn't painstakingly cover all subject matter from book. Teaches you what you need to know for the real world and tries to help you succeed in areas other than just school. Outstanding teaching method as well.

Prof. Parker is an amazing professor. He uses a totally unorthodox method of teaching. His class is really easy to get an A in. You will also really learn something from this class. Make sure you take LAW 250 with Parker!

Parker is a stand up gent, with a great sense of humor. I'm sure he's an excellent lawyer, but I would consider him just a slightly above average teacher. The book is not imperative, yet it is helpful with assignments. Two papers, one test, one movie/quiz, and a take home final are the grades. The tests are tricky, but he's a lenient grader.
