its a tough class but she actually gives a lot of bonus points and adds the difference between the final and your lowest test grade and adds it to the low test. Homework was online (usually done on excel)confusing in class. She will turn around and write for 40 min. then give an in class assignment. Shes the better of the 2 ac 301 teachers

I heard class is very hard but it turn out to be easy class, yes ofcourse you have to work hard but to pass the class just follow her sylabbus in which she mentioned some practice and quiz numericals, and you be good to go... I took A grade in her class.

KEEP ON RUNNING AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!! This was the most careless professor I have ever taken. The class consists of listening to her monotone voice flying through problems on the board (having students correct her the whole time) and never interacting the class at all! The homework and online quizzes were nothing like the exam. Horrible class!

Took the class in 2011, I wish all my classes were like this. Pure critical thinking. I got an A and only read one chapter from the book. Most people have trouble in the class though. She beefs up the exams with bonus points so students grades can get curved. Lot's of homework too.

Avoid at all costs. Class consists of her reciting practice problems she did herself, which do not resemble test q's. No actual teaching. Her 20 min intro "lectures" 4 new chapters consist of monotone tangets and many "ums"-no help for tests. Quized on material before she recites "practice problems". Prepare to teach yourself, no joke. no joke.

A students, be prepared to work your ass off the entire semester in hopes of getting a B in her class. Quizes and homework prior to lecture on material, and exams are presented in completely different formats from homework and quizes, so good luck having any clue whats going on. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

Stoneback has no empathy for her students time. One homework assignment took me 4.5 hours to complete; one test 2.75 hours. She doesn't allow you to bring in any notes on the tests which means you have to memorize all of the accounting documents completely! She is the worst professor i've had at central, including the ones that can't speak English.

I think the only reason I did remotely well in this class is because I toned her out during class and taught myself out of the textbook. Homeworks are next to impossible unless you work with a group. Quizzes could have been easy if they werent given immediately following a lecture on the topic. Overall one of the worst teaching styles Ive ever seen

This was the HARDEST class I've ever taken. Be prepared for confusing lectures and unclear expectations. Quiz at the end of every class. However, I still managed to get a B, so all hope is not lost. It's really too bad she is the only option for this class.

okay this class will keep u guessing until the end. tests are WAY too much info, but she seems to grade them fairly. i did't even really study for the final and still got a B on it. VERY BORING CLASS!!! seems like an unbelieveable amount of work, but try to hand in everything to get points wherever possible. nice lady, just awful class.

Lets be honest. Only a complete idiot did not get a C or better in this class. She gives you a lot of work but it is not terribly hard. Study and memorize and you will pass. This is an upper accounting course it is not going to be simple. Also, she gives a good amount of extra points.
