Dr. Roll is a great calculus teacher. Her quizzes and exams are extremely easy if you pay attention in class and DO THE HOMEWORK. She also explains concepts well, gives extra help if needed, and posts the notes online before class.

over explains easy stuff and doesn't explain harder. really easy in the beginning but extremely difficult at the end if you've never had calc before. she is rude and doesn't answer questions that would actually clarify things. she will help you during the tests though. wait until you are one of the last 5 and then she'll basically finish it for you

She was a little unclear... ok, she was unclear quit a bit. SHe would jump from topic to topic and when she screwed up, she would try to explain herself which made her look a thousand times dumber. Easy class... Not very interesting!

haha yep, it's true. on the FINAL exam there were multiple choice questions for which the correct answer was not a choice. The class is super easy, but she makes things more confusing when she's trying to explain things. And if someone asks a question you're in for it. You never know what questions she's going to flip out about.

I hated her class! She yelled at me once for saying that I would find help on my own after she couldn't explain something. Awful if you've never taken calculus. Oh, and even some of the multiple choice questions on her exam didn't have a correct answer in the choices!

This lady is ridiculous. She is horrible when lecturing, and heaven forbid you ask a question. She makes you feel extremely inadequate and dumb. I have never had a professor this bad before....DO NOT TAKE!

Worst professor I've ever had! She made so many mistakes on the board and in her handouts and was generally confused. She thought we were all dumb and actually told us that we asked stupid questions. If she thought the question was 'dumb', she wouldn't answer it. Takes points off if you don't do the problem her way even if you get the right answer.

Easiest class you will ever take. Dr. Roll lets you use notecards and graphing calculators on quizzes. Unclear at times during lecture, but the material is very easy to pick up on your own if you need to. If you had a decent teacher in high school, you can get through this class without even picking up a book.

One of the best teachers at ONU! She's really nice and not too hard. Just do the homework and you will be fine. She is more than willing to help you with any problems. Ohh and she LOVES Math!

This lady LOVES math! She's really nice and is pretty helpful. Sometimes it gets confusing because of the way she explains things, and she doesn't like it much when you don't do problems her way. But overall it's an easy class since you can use your notes, but she does get annoying.
