She is very boring. Fell asleep in her class a lot. If you don't go to class she docks a percent from your grade. She only graded us on four multiple choice exams. She gave us study guides that where the same as the test. She gives one take home test and gives the opportunity to do extra credit. All the notes are on ANGEL.

I completed all of my assignments and had good attendance, but I got a D(midterm A+). she was unorganized and the lectures were boring. No test only 6 written assignments 3 from short books, rest from articles. Overall she is nice, but make sure you answer her questions in class, otherwise your grade will be low/even if you complete all of the work

Handed in all my work, read all the assignments, came to class, and ended up with an E. Knew a very intelligent classmate who was stuck with an E grade after their 2nd essay.

I had her for the American Immigration class and she was completely disorganized and confusing. She uses three different books and expects you to read 20-30 pages from each book for the next class. She stresses class participation, but when you answer a questions according to the text she says its wrong. Her tests are all take home essays.

Class was very unorganized and she often didn't make sense. She acts like she knows everything but seems clueless. Assignments weren't bad but she was boring.

Comment:
Class is heavily based around reading 20-30 page articles. There is no real structure to the class and she seems fairly unorganized. I don't really know if she knows what she is talking about sometimes but the work isn't too difficult.

3 take home writing exams (each of mine were 8-10 pages). 3 thesis and conclusion essays (4-6pgs each). Overall, pretty boring but very easy if you are thorough. The essays are heavily based in the books, but they're cheap.

Comment:
She can get off track at times due to being unorganized. When this happens she gets a little flustered and can say incorrect things. If you are paying attention you will have no problem but if you are zoning out this can be a serious issue. She is a good teacher regardless of this issue but be warned that paying attention is important.

The worst part was the class could be boring, but she can be very entertaining. The work is pretty straight forward, she uses a good balance of book and class. Her take home exams are great, because she gives you a choice on what to answer. She doesn't over load you with work, and she doesn't demand a lot of pages.

This professor certainly knows her field but is not very effective in teaching it. She gets mixed up in class frequently making it impossible to follow along. Very boring lecture and unorganized. Class is interesting but be prepared to read and teach yourself. I would still recommend the class, just don't expect much teacher guidance.

This class was boring but the occasional addition of humor made it bearable. She knows her stuff and is a fair grader. The tests are straightforward and fairly easy to ace. As long as you are thorough, you will get a good score.

Very knowledgable professor, also a fair grader. This class is a survey course, so please understand that she expects you to know most of it, and that she is refreshing your memory. Lectures do not always follow book chronologically, but she makes most point clear.

It's difficult to take notes when you're falling asleep, and when your teacher reads out loud from her notes for 70 minutes, that's what happens. She'll put up the occasional overhead projection of an outline and then seemingly talk about it, but she goes off on more tangents than a Geometry assignment. Pray for outlines and use the book with them.
