Joanne is a good professor. Her goal is to motivate you to keep going to school, to follow your dreams, and to feel good about who you are. She wants you to believe in yourself and work hard for you dreams. You have a lot journals but this class is easy and very helpful to get you ready for college.

i think everyone on this page is completely wrong! she is an awesome teacher who has been through a lot, has a lot of eperience, and a lot of motivation! if you do the chapter summarys and do the readings, you can get an A. she encourages students to do their best... ALL OF THEM

Unreal teacher, full of herself, no respect to students. She is even a counseler, by I reccommend not recieving advice from her, treats students unfairly. Bases grades on favoritism not quality of work.
