The best acting teacher I have ever had. He is extremely helpful in helping you learn what you need to about the scene or monologue you are doing. Very nice, more like a friend than a professor. Extremely professional and kind. I wish he taught more classes at SSC.

He was a great Speech professor. The class always had...interesting conversations with him. Don't ask him about dolphins! You don't want to know! He does talk pretty fast sometimes, but do what he asks on speeches, and you'll get an A. I did.

John is a truly wonderful professor. He is fair, honest and genuinely cares about your success in his class and, more broadly, your success thereafter. It was a joy to have him as a professor and I would gladly raise a pint to him at semester's end. The only thing I bid you remember about his class is to always go on time. Ask him about dolphins!

John Didonna is the most understanding and helpful teacher I have ever taken at SCC. He's a hoot in class, there's never a dull moment. There is quite a bit of paper work involved, but he gives you plenty of time to do it. and don't worry if you get behind, he'll work with you. TAKE HIM FOR SPEECH!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!

I was so afraid of speech class..but with John it was a breeze! Really understands that not everyone is cut out to give a speech! There is alot of paperwork due for the speeches but he gives you plenty of time to get it done. The most understanding professor i have ever had and really down to earth, he curses alot and he has a great sence of humor.

So you have to decide if Mr. DiDonna is the speech teacher for you... well PICK HIM! He is an awesome professor and makes speech a breeze. You do have to take a mid-term and final but he gives you a sheet that tells you exactly what to study! He is very helpful and willing to stay after class with you if needed when writing a speech . I got an A!!!
