This man is INCREDIBLE. I took every class he offered when I was in undergrad even when it didn't go towards my grad requirements. That was seven years ago at this point. He was the best professor I ever had. Do not take this man for granted. Enjoying being around greatness!!!! Show up to class and learn from him.

Took his summer COMM1001 class and I absolutely loved him as a professor. He is so caring and wants students to do well. He curved the first test because people did poorly and was open to our suggestions about how he could better help us prepare or change future tests so we could succeed. Lectures are fun and relatable. I hope to have him again!

HUGE group project that is completely unavoidable. Tests aren't super hard. You don't need the textbook, but you need the Fish! book for sure. Dr. Howard is really a great professor. He gives a lot of examples and rambles a lot, but he is a really solid dude and would love to take another class with him.

Dr. Howard is the real MVP, he loves teaching and he helps his students in any way that he can. I had him for two classes and he rounded up my grade for both, bless him. Attendance is necessary, he doesnt post his notes online, so just go to class and youll do well.

Love Mr. Howard! This is my 3 time taking him and I honestly love his classes. He is a little lecture heavy in the sense that he will talk for the entire class time but he's very funny and sarcastic which makes the class a joy to come to. I plan on taking him again next semester!

Howard does a good job at relating course material to relatable to real-life situations. The exams are online, not timed and can be saved, so you can work with other students and follow along in the book. The group project does take a lot of work and communication with other students - but that's the whole point is to communicate! I Learned a lot!

Dr. Howard is one in a million. He is so smart and loves what he does, as well as his students. His tests are hard, but you can work with people and they're online & untimed. His semester-long project was tough, but it was not too bad. If you want an A on it, write 40 pages. Overall, I learned so much about the course and life in this class.

I've taken him for 2 semesters (Org. Comm and Gender Comm) and would take him for every class if I could. His thorough knowledge on the subjects makes it easy for him to teach and easy to LEARN. Every single thing he teaches will stick with you for the rest of your life, unlike the rest of your classes. He makes everything practical.

Great Professor! It was my favorite class even though It was 8am. Tests are on blackboard so they are open note and book, but the Book is rarely used. Going to class is a must because Tests come straight from notes.

I reallllllly enjoyed professor Howards class! I had him at 8 am, intro to comm and he always kept me interested. He uses odd analogies but they stick with you when it comes to the tests. i recommend going to class cause ALL of the test questions come from class notes. he rarely ever uses the book.Overall i would definitely recommend it!!
