Super helpful, although she doesn't post the powerpoints online, so you pretty much have to go to class. Has open office hours and emails out to students frequently. Very nice!

Comment:

Dr. Freedman passed away on 6/29/07. He loved his subject and his students. I found his kindness, openness, creativity, and out-of-the-box style to be refreshing and inspiring. I am sad that he is not here, but when I remember Dr. Freedman, I smile and I know that life is full of possibilities!

One of the friendliest and sweetest professors on campus. His class is so easy and he's very accomodating to your needs. He gives open book test on webct and they are very easy. Only thing is, he grades on attendance. He makes the class intereting by getting the whole class involved in different activities.

Dr. Freedman is very passionate about his work, but I felt like I was back in high school. we had assigned seating, and attendance required. Everything is online:tests, soclogs. There was no reason to go to class- I wouldve rather taken it as an online course.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE. If you do you might as well just go ahead and give yourself an F and save the trouble. CONFUSING UNCLEAR HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If someone should not be teaching online it is THIS PROFESSOR. Others may say im wrong but believe me this class is horrible.

He was extremely nice and helpful. I took the class online so I really was only around him a few times during the semester but he was so sweet. And, I had some problems with some of my work and he was more than happy to help me out. He was very flexible as far as going out of his way to help students.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Freedman. His lectures are very interesting and really promote thought. He brings a lot of knowledge and experience to the table and encourages students to think critically about what they know about the world. Take his class!

He changes his class every semester, so reading these don't apply. He no longer gives essays, and he is very lax when it comes to due dates. He is always willing to adapt his teaching style so that you get the best grade possible. Always gives plenty of extra credit, and easy to make an A.

I really enjoyed his online class. I learned more and was able to do it at my own pace. He is very helpful if you attend the optional classes and he sees that you are actually trying to make an effort to understand his class.
