WMS students, unless you enjoy instructors that: (1) are flaky, (2) treats all non-film students like they're inept, (3) spends more time name-dropping than teaching anything useful, (4) is incredibly flaky, (5) acts pissed if you have another class besides hers, (6) blatantly contradicts herself... then don't bother. I want my money back.

Amazingly helpful professor with serious success in the real world. One must only read Erik Barnouw's Documentary textbook to see that Julia has been a serious competitor in documentary film for a long while. What's cooler than having your professor have to miss class because she is judging documentary at Sundance? She also has a lot of contacts
