She is a very sweet lady and really cares about her students. If I had to have a professor mentor, it would definitely be her. Participating will help develop a better relationship with her.

Comment:

If you want a liberal professor who claims she's being "provocative" then by all means, take her class. The entire class is pushed onto the students and the professor basically does nothing. Definitely has her viewpoints and makes them known. Typical liberal professor, full of hot air with nothing to back up her claims.

lack of guidance and expectations makes this class very hard and frustrating...it was very hard to get responses from e-mails and feedback from grades/assignments

She does not explain anything that you need for you tests or writing assignments. she talks about random things, and then asks you questions from the book on the tests. I don't reccommend her.

Comment:

She does seem to pick favorites at times. However, I am satisfied with her as an instructor. She knows the material and she has a very charismatic personality. I recommend taking her if you can.
