I took Dr. Schramm for lab not lecture, and it was hands down the best thing I've ever done. He's extremely intelligent and tries to help his students understand what they're doing. He'll help you if you just ask. He's super funny and genuinely tries to get to know his students. He's passionate about what he does and it rubs off on his students.

I didn't get a good grade, but that is not an accurate representation of him. He brings humor to the class, and although his class is difficult, he sets you up for success. He will stay beyond his office hours to help you. He gives a lot of resources for you to succeed

Wants you to learn and understand the material, not just pass his class. He lectures for the entire hour and has long exams in the evening. Assigns lots of homework, but he has convenient office hours. Take him if you are a science major, take someone else if you are getting in and out of chemistry as quickly as possible. Also he's adorable

Dr. Shramm is probably one of the smartest professors on campus, and he wants you to be smart too. Really wants you to know the material and he reflects that in his massive 2 hour tests. Great guy

My favorite professor I've had so far. Difficult 2hr tests taken outside of class. If you study a little and pay attention in class, you can easily get a high B. However, if you want the A, you do have to put in extra work. He is extremely available outside of class and loves to help! I always did homework in his office and he had practice tests!

Dr. Schramm is without no doubt, a great teacher. But he is incredibly difficult. ALL TESTS are outside of class and take roughly 2 hours, it was not unusual for test averages to be below a C. Lectures from bell to bell. Weekly homework assignments that are quite challenging. If you are a chemistry major, take him, but for gen-chem, look elsewhere.

Dr. Schramm is a very knowledgeable man. It is very clear that he is passionate about chemistry. But his classes are incredibly challenging. He expects a lot of his students. But if you are willing to work hard, I would absolutely recommend taking him. He is very willing to help you get through it and is a great guy.

Dr. Schramm is by far my favorite teacher I have had in college yet. Even though the class is difficult, he teaches the material to where it makes sense. If you want an easier chemistry class I do not recommend, but if you want to learn the material I recommend Schramm. He is also very sweet and supportive. He loves athletes.

Dr. Schramm was an excellent teacher. Many people complain about his difficult tests, but in a college Chemistry course that is to be expected. He is very engaging during lectures, and prepares you very well for tests and exams. His door is always open to students looking for help. I actually built my schedule for next semester around his class!

Dr. Schramm was great! He was always happy to help when I had questions or needed clarification. I wouldn't recommend this class if you didn't have a thorough chemistry course in high school, but if you already have a solid understanding of chemistry, this class is a great way to build on that foundation. Be prepared to study!

I had Dr. Schramm for lab, and he doesn't spend equal time in each lab room, so try to get him to like your room. He also doesn't discuss the post lab and how to do it at all. You have to go to lab, it's a big part of your grade.

Dr. Schramm is the best of the best. Yes, he is the toughest chem professor for chem 121, but he gives the best lectures and is super patient and kind. Additionally, he allows you to SEE THE OLD TESTS/KEYS before you take the new one. He's best for those who want to go into medicine. If you ask quests&go to chem help sessions, uare bound to suceed

Chemistry is tough. Dr. Schramm is a great teacher, willing to spend as much time as possible with you until you understand the material. He does not take attendance. However, he warns you and I'm warning you, if you skip, there is no possibility of you passing. I had a high B in 121 and an A in 122. If you put in effort, you will be fine.
