Wow- this guy deserves to have way more comments! I am very picky & he is incredible. He is literally a genius. The class is all lecture which I like esp. when the prof knows what he is talking about. I learned so much from him. He is also very approachable & a nice person. I HIGHLY recommend. If you put effort forward, you will do well! TAKE HIM!

I have to agree with all the previous posters...Avruch was awesome-been 10 years since I left Mason and I will always remember him as one of my fave professors. Super smart, meant business (no lateness) and just cool without knowing it. I Had a little crush on him too!

12 years since college . . . Checking this site out for fun. Prof. Avruch was great. I remember his classes as the best I took at Mason during my 5 years of attendance. Very engaging--he made the subject matter come to life.
