Yes, classes are reading heavy but definitely not as bad as others I have taken. She's a nice person and genuinely cares about your success, but also somewhat opinionated if she disagrees with you. She teaches you to take good notes and likes to see you succeed.

Comment:

Throughout my undergraduate career, I had Dr. Haddad for 4-5 classes. She was insightful, inspiring and truly cared how you were doing with the material. You will participate, you will read a lot and take on complex ideas, but you WILL become a better academic. If you come willing to learn and better yourself, you will do just that with her help.

Dr. Haddad was an amazing professor. I took this class the first semester of my freshman year and was nervous to take this class since it required 5 books (Locke, Berlin, and Baldwin). While the class was a challenge, I felt like I learned so much and that I can use what I learned in the real world. She is also very inspiring and understanding.

Very easy to talk to for anything, the only grading is exams, paper, final and participation. Super sweet person, genuinely cares for all students here.

Dr. Haddad is a strong willed woman and great role model for all students. She provides an example of a woman who stands up against the patriarchy with respectability. She is confident and comfortable with herself. She knows her stuff. If you respect her then she respects you. That's completely fair.

She's a good teacher whos really sweet and actually cares about all her students. If you take her class make sure you spend time extra time on your work and you open your mind. She's a fair grader and her writing fellows are great too! 10/10

Be prepared to read a lot in this class, I had to buy about 6 books for this class. She seems really tough and annoying, but she is actually very funny and caring. Interesting discussions, I look forward to this class.

I only had Dr. Haddad for one class, and at first thought she was a hard a**. As the semester went on I came to like her teaching style and the material. If you read, take notes on her lectures, ask an occasional question, and maybe participate a little, you'll do just fine in this class. Very strict about cell phone use and eating!!!

My personal favorite professor at Moravian College. She has inspired me to pursue a career in political science. If you don't put in the time to read for this class, it will be difficult to understand the lectures, and therefore the test. She is extremely strict about classroom etiquette, so I would make sure your cell phone is off or on silent.

She is a wonderful woman that honestly cares about your well being, and I would defend her honor any day of the week. You need to work hard in her class, but that doesn't mean that it'll be that hard. If you prove yourself, she will go to any extent to make sure you are on the right track. I have had her for 3 classes, and plan to take more.

Professor Haddad is a brilliant and extremely intelligent individual. She will force you to work and think hard. Her classes are not easy, but are worthwhile. Be forewarned, she is very serious about class etiquette - no cellphones, no eating, ect. Can be a very 'intense' experience - probably not a good early morning class to take.

I enjoyed her class on Introduction to Political thinking. She is a very intelligent professor who knows what she is talking about. This was my best class in the semester, Although we had assigned readings for class it was not too much of a burden and we had open discussions in class about the readings which always provided clarity for me and other students. She is also very reliable and stays true to her office hours. She is indeed a great professor.

Great professor. Teaches you to think. By the end of the semester you'll be challenging thoughts & ideas outside of class. Readings are engaging and discussion is encouraged. Lectures are interesting. Her knowledge is so refreshing & enlightening it involves you even more. After 120 moved on to her 215 (Modern Pol. Theory) & it's also a great class

So smart, insightful, helpful and accessible. It's important to participate and do the work in her classes. I found myself working harder on this class than the ones for my major. Her classes aren't easy but you will come away from it having learned a lot.

Dr. Haddad is a no-nonsense Professor that will provide you a real challenge. If you desire definitive answers to everything in life, her classes will frustrate the hell out of you. She's not always clear and definitely makes her students think, but will reward you for making a legitimate effort.

She is one of the best professors I've ever had. Really makes you think. So if you do not like to think and only worry about your gpa don't take her class but if you like a challenge a great discussion and a great professor than this class might change your world!
