I've taken several classes with her and I've learned this: she has favorites. if you aren't one of them--too bad. she reads off of her notes and makes a seminar class a lecture class. we have great art history profs at jmu. she is not one.

she is in.credible. what an amazing professor. so clear and so interesting. and funny. take ART 314. best class. once a week, at night (sadly), field trips, very interesting. take her courses. loooove her.

Beware that her intro to art class does require going to lectures outside of class, she reads straight from her notes a lot while lecturing and that she likes it when you go to the writing center. She is nice and willing to help you.
