Comment:

So confusing and hard to understand. Doesn't manage time well and doesn't answer the question asked. If you want to read all her powerpoints and read every chapter of the book you could easily skip class. But be prepared the power points are also confusing and the book is a lot of information.

She is amazingly intelligent, but due to being extremely scatter brained she is unable to clearly share her genius with her students, making it very important to read the Text book.

Professor Moore is one of the best profesors that USM has. I may not be amazing at biology, but my lordy she knows this stuff like the back of her hand! She met with me whenever I needed, I found that very helpful. Her exams aren't easy but not extremely hard either. I recommend her to anyone that has to take a Biology class!

Very helpful and easy to talk to. She is one of the best Biology professors I've had. The class exams were thoroughly based on her power points so there was no need of purchasing the book. Overall, awesome professor and class.

This class was so easy! I took APBio in HS and this was easier than that. All of her exams are over class notes, don't even bother buying the book. She's a major scatterbrain which I find really annoying, but overall her class was super easy. If you fail it must have been on purpose.

Dr. Moore is a great Professor! She makes you earn your grade though. She is always helpful and easy to talk to, but she seemed to busy a lot, so finding her isn't always the easiest!

I had her for Honors instead of Biology. We had a seminar and then a bio lab. She expects you to do the reading, and in the lab will talk for an hour and a half about a ten minute lab. We spent most of the class bored and shaking our heads. Still, she likes her field and it shows.

Good stuff. I really enjoyed her class. very knowledgeable, very smart. Disparately wants her students to succeed and will go to great lengths to help them. My only criticism would be that she has a tendency to teach to the lowest common denominator, so if you are interested in a topic you should ask questions. She won't disappoint.

I thought this proffesor was horrible! Any question asked would be replied with an "I dont know". I had heard this phrase so much that after the first week I decided to keep count of how many times she said "I dont know". The number.. 173. It was ridiculous how vaguely the material was covered...

Lisa Moore... She's an intelligent teacher, and this lab is helpful if you're also in 105K. But she's a rambler, so I disliked that. She also takes forever to grade things, and it seems like everything connects to her research. Which it doesn't.

I loved bio 105 thanks to Dr Lisa Moore. The class flew by because of her teaching, and I learned so much about the subject. I enjoyed the way she used her powerpoint presentations and lecture notes. I had a fairly easy time learning just from her lectures.

Excellent Professor. Material is presented in a very straightforward way and tests are very reasonable. This class was a lot work but not out of the oridinary for an upperlevel bio course. Professor was very nice and easy to approach to ask questions.

I have to say, that only one month into the semester, I am finding myself disappointed with this class. She appears to be teaching only from notes from the book and is unable to answer any questions that deviate from the text. It's pretty bad to hear a professor say "I don't know" too many times.

Not very flexible, she gave a study guide and I spent three days completing the 7 page (back and front) monstrosity and then I took the exam and NOTHING from the study guide was on the test, I was then told by her "I'm the professor I can do whatever I want! Welcome to college, sweetie." Rude!

Lisa was perfect! She used a variety of methods including using helpful power-point animations,helpful practice questions, giving bio lecture notes, and excellent review. She is a great professor. I don't understand how anyone can complain about her!

She is a great professor. People who rate her as awful aren't really trying. They probably try to study for the exam the night before and expect to pass. She is very accessible and concerned with student progress.
