I took a class with him online, although I wish it was in person. Lebar is a great professor and offers more than enough information for you to do well. Even though it was online, it was a very interesting class. I'd recommend him over and over again. Do the readings!

This class was way harder than all the other phil1300 classes at OU! LeBar is awesome and hilarious and a great professor but this class was pretty challenging for an intro class. Tough grader on the papers as well. Learned a lot from this class but probably would of been able to get an easy A if I just would of taken the lectured phil1300 class.

Professor LeBar is an excellent professor and he has a way with explaining political philosophy so it all makes sense. This class does involve a lot of reading and writing responses so if you're looking for an easy A look elsewhere. However, if you're willing to do the work and speak up in class there's no reason you can't get an A in this class.

Probably one of my favorite profs next to Dr. Trese. Unlike many PHIL profs is open to other opinions. You need to work hard but by all means, IF YOU NEED A PHIL CLASS, TAKE IT WITH MARK LEBAR!!

LeBar's awsome. Philosophy is tough but he helps a lot. I learned a lot. Really nice guy... easy to talk to... really smart... great teacher. This class was also pretty cool and I'd never taken a philosophy class before. If you're open to learning phil... take him!!! Not a real easy grader though so don't expect an A without working HARD.

Love this class! I expected it to be lame, but it's probably my favorite class now. LeBar is so cool. He wears shorts, sandals, and Hawaiian-type shirts every day. He is super nice and funny, not to mention a very qualified teacher. He makes everything easy to understand. If you take a philosophy class, try to get LeBar!

It should be apparent from all of the other student's ratings that Dr. LeBar is a kick ass professor. He is super smart and a lot of fun to listen to in class. He always welcomes your interaction with him both in class and in his office. Taking one of his classes would be a great investment before you graduate.
