Comment:

Very disappointed in this prof. Faraci is sweet, but does not teach well. Attendance is a huge part of your grade, she gives confusing instructions for "papers" that were 300-500 words, and the final was a group project. I would not take her again as I enjoy being challenged, not reading entire books only to be given only discussion posts aboutthem

Comment:

Professor Faraci is a nice person in that she's caring, but horrible in other senses. She is racist, ableist, and otherwise offensive. Which is bad by itself, but she is also a bad teacher. She never made sense, was rarely in line with the syllabus, and was distracted often. Her class wasn't hard because I BS'd everything. Wouldn't take again

Mary Faraci has been one of the most significant influences upon my teaching. Chaucer was electric! I have been at Binghamton University for 20 ys but still I talk of her teaching style to my students. Whosoever instills wonder in your heart lives there forever. I think she may still have my paintings hanging on her wall. GEORGE

Comment:

Faraci is extremely nice. She cares about her students! I took her class during the evening and she bought dinner every week for the entire class. This just goes to show her character. There was only 2 papers the entire semester, the only thing that we ever did in class was read the text and discuss. I would take her again for any other course!

She really loves her students are cares about there success long after you've had her in class. I've taken her 3 times I know others who have taken her 5+. She's an easy grader and always allows for study time and review before the exams. If you show up and make an impression on her you are guaranteed to pass.

She is the sweetest professor I've ever had. She loves what she does. Her lectures are more like a powwow session, she brings coffee and snacks. She teaches well and she ignores you if you aren't paying attention (PAY ATTENTION, SHE'S TOO SWEET!) She cares about her students and can be extremely funny. I would recommend her to anyone!! :)

She's grandfathered into the English department. All Jupiter campus students know her. She makes absolutely no sense, but taking her class is an experience to be had. You're guaranteed to pass. She really does treat class time like a social gathering. She even brings coffee and cookies to every single meeting.

Comment:

Dr. Faraci is one of the sweetest teachers that I've had. She cares and constantly reminds me why I want to teach. I have been disappointed with my other English teachers because of their lack of concern for students but she has really been a blessing for me this semester.

Dr. Faraci favors certain students. She loves to applaud the "cutesy" or "mousy" students. But if do not land on her good side, she does a great job at totally disregarding you. She grades arbitrarily.. Great class for slackers and student-dodgers..

Shakespeare! I was not interested in taking this class until the 1st day! She is FUN, smart, and ties real life into Shakespeare's plays. I always enjoyed class. She is very helpful and clear with her assignments. (I am not an english major either!)

I have taken Prof. Faraci many times, she is brilliant, funny, kind and she LOVES her students. She definitley can lose you during her lectures but she is clear when it comes to her tests and papers. The review sheets are everything you need to pass. Great teacher- TAKE HER!

My all-time fav! I was floundering in "major-limbo", not knowing what to do. I was so inspired by her advice I changed to English & it was the best thing I ever did for myself. She is quirky, fun & utterly brilliant. I am taking my third course w/ her now, & will take 3 more before I graduate. Honored to be allowed to learn from a genius!!

Dr. Faraci is a true lady. She is also a remarkable teacher. Her lectures move around quite a bit, and are hard to follow if you are not paying attention. But, if you take the time to listen, and notice the unusual things she points out, then you will realize how amazing the ideas truly are. What a gift it has been to be in her class.
