She is precious! TAKE HER! She doesn't grade anything until the end of the semester except a few things. REALLY fair about it though. She tries so hard to make it interesting, but she's old so ya know...she will count ANYTHING as extra credit so just turn in random papers and she'll be so proud of you. EASY A!

Such a sweet lady. Though her class is pretty dry she does try to make an effort to make it more interesting for the students. Her class was very easy, she doesn't want anyone stressing out so she's very easy to work with. Definitely take her class.

English 1000 is no doubt an easy class but Melinda Morton makes it a total waste of time. When I took it, she tried to teach us about nuclear energy... I kid you not she would go off tangents every day and I felt like I got more stupid as a result from her class. AVOID THIS TEACHER

Super super easy class. Read one book other than the textbook and didn't even have a quiz or test on it. You write five papers the whole semester and at most they have to be four pages in length. Won't find an English class easier than this one!

So boring. There are only 5 short papers the whole semester that you dont even get graded on. At the end of the semester you revise two of the papers you wrote of your choice by making them longer, and those are the two she actually grades. We read a book, but didnt really do anything with it. SUPER easy, but also SUPER boring.

NOOOO!!!!! She is so boring and if you miss over 3 classes she starts taking a third of a letter grade off of your final grade. Ugh. Avoid this teacher if possible.

Amazing lady. Always used all class time. Very distracted. All kinds of great stories. Definitely an easy A. Papers are not even graded. Portfolio counts as final exam grade. Very quiet so sit in the front to hear her. So lenient on late assigments. Tons of extra credit. It's impossible to earn less than an A.

Mrs Morton is a very sweet lady, but she is the type to have such a low voice that you can't hear her. I found myself dozing off in class a lot because the class is extremely boring. But this is an easy A and not much work at all!

ive never had such a boring class, you sit there and listen to her ramble for an hour and 15 min about nothing that is usefull or important. 5 papers that arent graded and a paragraph journal entry each class.

THIS CLASS IS A COMPLETE BORE. Bless her heart she's so old I don't know if she could talk louder than a whisper, but I have no idea how she manages to lecture about a short story for an hour and 15 minutes. Don't have any grades back yet, but have heard she grades hard from past students. would recommend someone else if possible.

Shes helpful. 5 Essays only 3 count in final portfolio. DO YOUR JOURNAL ENTRIES, i got a B- and not an A+ for not doing them. Class is boring alot, but if you do the journals and put some effort into the essays then youll do fine. no tests, hw is just journal entries. Teaches new ways of writing which helped me become a better writer.

She is a really sweet lady but the class is a complete snooze fest. I could barely keep my eyes open while I sat and listened to her talk about free writing at 8am. But it is a simple grade so I would recommend the class for a good GPA booster.

She's easy. She grades nothing. Which is slightly annoying and kills the motivation to complete assignments. She thinks she's teaching 5th graders though. She yelled at me for getting a tissue becaus it was 12 degrees and my nose was running. Not cool.

She's a very nice lady and the class is really easy. There is a journal that she doesn't read, but she does count your entries. There were 3 essays and a research paper. She only gave us 2 quizzes. She is really boring though. I had to fight off sleep, but it was worth the easy A I got.

First of all let me just say going into this course i was not expecting to have a lesson in sex ed, but really its all the women talks about. Anyhow, its a very easy A. You do have to do a lot of papers but she doesnt grade them till the end of the semester. WARNIG: VERY boring

Very nice lady. She is very passionate about her subject. The class is very boring though. I am not an English person and that class puts me to sleep. 4 essays that aren't graded, short research paper, and a journal are the assignments. Easy class, just very boring. If you just want a good grade, take her. You will be bored, but she's nice.
