This is the hardest class I'm taking this semester...it is definitely NOT just memorization! Good teacher but it's time for him to retire. Lecture style makes it hard to pay attention in class even though you have to if you want to pass. Only take if you have to.

This was the most boring class I have ever had. I'm sure I fell asleep with my eyes open more than once. He's a nice guy, but man, BORING. I still have no idea what the class was about. All it consisted of was a lot of definitions and memorization. If you enjoy rote memorization, this is the class for you, because you won't learn a thing.

BRAIN DAMAGE WILL OCCUR! For a linguist, he has absolutely no public speaking skills. Don't take him for GNED!! He is not clear in his explanations and if you ask him for help he will give you examples upon examples that will make you more confused. Class is boring but you have to attend everyday.
