Tabuse-sensei may seem intimidating at first, but she really is a lot of fun and she isn't really too much of a hard grader! As long as you make an effort, you'll be fine! She's one of the best Japanese teachers at Eastern!

Comment:

Tabuse may come across intimidating at first, but as time passes you'll find that she is a fun, supportive teacher that can really teach. I learned so much within just one semester. Sometimes she "teases" students, but it's always innocent and fun, and students are always laughing in her class.

Tabuse-sensei is the best Japanese teacher at EMU. She is very helpful and nice If you have been keeping up with your Japanese studies this class is not difficult. You need to read and watch the videos before class. Quizzes are online and easy. A couple of class presentations which are easy.

This class is hard! But, Tabuse-sensei really will do all she can, and then some, to help you. I cannot stress enough that you MUST read the book, a few times, in order to understand the material and pass. All of the tests were open book, and the video quizzes could be done in advance. Show up for every class and try your best.

Team taught w/ Fujiwara-sensei. Best class of the semester! Makes sure you know what's going on, but makes the class fun too. I made the most friends in this class because we all connected very well. Otaku Unite!
