I took her class in 2009 at Florence, Italy. I tried hard on my essay homework, I got B. Therefore i asked a revision from my friend in Harvard, still got B. Comment:

Doesn't prepare anything for class- requires students to write dozens of pages of things she will never read in a physical journal. If you enjoy writing endlessly for no apparent purpose and then counting your own pages like counting prison days, take this class.

We did a lot of free writing and useless peer reviews. She is a tough grader and if she doesn't like your style of writing she will try to make you change it to cater to her taste. Really wants DETAILS. In class discussions are good but she assigns way more out of class homework than the other profs.

International students, do not take her. Seriously. I submitted my final essay that was revised from Harvard Univ. newspaper editor, and i got B while other native american students got A..s. I still don't understand how Harvard editor gets inferior grade than NYU LSP students.

I took IB English Higher Level in high school, so coming here and having Cuddeback was like going back to the 7th grade. She constantly forgets what she's talking about and the subject material is well below college level.

This professor talks waaay too much. For the whole class, she will not stop talking. She breaks things down too much, I felt like I was in middle school. However, some of the reading we did was interesting and I did feel like my writing skills improved a little. She does not have a lesson plan and simply relies on students expression their opinion.

The girl def has some stupid assignments and stupid readings. Its true you can write an great piece and not get the grade 4 it or (show her) that you try har on a bad piece and get an A. In her class A is for "effort" not "quality" so start off by a slacking off on ur first draft then, make all the changes SHE told u to make and Voila : A!

I had to remind myself that I was in University and not in High School when it came to this class. A case of putting effort into your work rather than writing something amazing which gets the grade. At times she came across as juvenile which got on everyone's nerves. But at least she cared about the students and their work. Kudos on the cat comment

She should have been my 9th grade english teacher, but her class was a nice break from the rest. Her assignments are incredibly easy and she is easy to suck up to. Just bs your interest in her class and do the easy assignments and you will do well. Very nice though, but def has cats on her wall.
