Dr. Tracy's classes are near impossible to navigate through. She grades really tough without feedback, quiz and test questions often have nothing to do with the material or are very misleading, schedules are changed without notice, her lectures go on off topic tangents about her kids, and her 200 and 210 are the same class. Waste of time and money.

Comment:

Seems to have improved her curriculum somewhat because of feedback. Quizzes remain difficult, as they are posted without any warning and oftentimes on Sundays. A good person, but the class is not recommended.

She is the worst professor in the Comm department! She is a really tough grader when it comes to papers, yet she never provides any feedback on them leaving students confused. She acts like she wants to help you, but then is anything but in her office hours. Her lectures are slow and make it difficult to stay engaged in class. Don't take her.

Comment:

Dr. Tracy is nice, but not a good teacher. Her lectures are long and go over a lot of material that really isn't all that relevant to the class. Her assignments also aren't very specific which makes projects and paper difficult and she isn't an easy grader. She was somewhat helpful, but overall this was a very frustrating class.

She wasn't helpful or specific about what she wanted or how things needed to be done. Most of her class is based on the lectures where she often goes off topic and doesn't cover all the material on quizzes and exams. The exams themselves aren't that bad, but she's a very tough grader or papers and projects. Won't take her again.

She is clear about what she expects from her students but is very willing to help you reach those expectations. Doing the bare minimum will only get you a C in her classes, show some genuine effort in your work she will notice and grade accordingly. It never feels like she is teaching AT you, always feels that you are learning from each other

Pam Tracy is absolutely terrible. If you take her, be prepared for your grade to be a D+ or C- until the end of the semester when grades FINALLY get updated. Undoubtedly the worst professor I've ever had.

Not very clear with her assignments or what she wants on papers. She tries to come off as friendly, and depending on the situation, can be, but she can be very stubborn to say the least. At least 90% of the time she says she would love to help you out with a problem, but never does. She'll often say "there's nothing I can do, sorry."

I have had Dr. Tracy for many of my comm. classes. She is also my advisor. She is a wonderful professor who loves what she does. She expects a lot from her students! Be prepared everyday for her class, make a real effort, and you will be fine. Her classes are no easy A's! She is a very nice women if you are a hard worker. Don't get on her bad side!

Hard material for a 200-level class. The expectations for assignments were not clearly defined. She's horrible about e-mailing back. When a class is online, the professor should always be available, and she was unavailable a lot of the time.

Dr. Tracy is a fantastic teacher! I just finished her summer English 400 class and I learned so much! The class is a little challenging but if you are a good writer you'll be fine! She loves teaching and is a wonderful person! If you're going to take any class during the summer, this is the one to take! :)

If you like doing lots of work and not getting any feedback till the end of the semster then take one of her classes....In addition to that when you want to set up a meeting with her to dicuss your grade she is always busy...until Friday!
