Attendance, 3 assignments, final exam. Topics will likely bore you, lectures will put you to sleep and she won't care if you walk in for attendance and walk out. Gives great feedback on assignments so you can improve. I received a high mark by giving very thorough answers on the assignments. You will get a good mark by putting the work in.

Patricia is honestly not bad, she tries really hard to explain concepts but finance is a tough course. I found her hard to follow so stopped showing up. They key to doing well is doing all the textbook practice questions and doing the reading before the class. Her class did have the lowest average for the midterm and she does NOT curve.

Worst professor I've ever had. Doesn't teach properly, doesn't give us our marks on time, doesn't give us any updates on our marks, and makes midterm harder than it needs to be. Avoid at all costs

I honestly don't know why her rating is this high. She reads off the slides, and doesn't explain concepts properly at all. Better off reading the text book and teaching yourself the material, her midterm was hard, and the class average was one of the lowest out of all finance midterms. Final was easier, but it's only because all fin profs write it

Worst prof ever! Avoid at all costs. She says okay way too much, and does not explain concepts properly.

Overall she is good prof, she tries to use both methods (calculator and formulas). Very approachable, and always answers student questions. The course is hard itself, so be prepared to spend extra time to go over the concepts.

Prof McGraw is a real gem - she can seem a bit intimidating at first but if you ask her for help and make a genuine effort, you will do well in her class. She doesn't try to trick you like many other profs and tries to structure the course in the easiest way possible.

She's a very sweet lady who tries to help in any way she reasonably can. Her classes are EXTREMELY boring but it is not entirely her fault that the material is very dry. Definitely recommend!

She might be a tad boring compared to other profs but she teaches the calculator methods well and answers questions really well. In order to do well/ pass fin 300 you need to get the highest mark possible in my finance labs and get the highest mark possible for the fin 300 midterms. Got a decent mark can't complain.

Lectures are EXTREMELY dry, she started the semester off by saying in the first class that many of the students in the room will be taking the course 2 or even 3 times. Material itself is hard enough non finance majors and then she makes it more complex than it should be for a required course for all business management courses.

Comment:
A lot of information at once and a lot of it is pretty useless for people who are not taking finance majors. Make sure you have everything on your formula sheet for the exam or you will not pass. Some of it is easy but as the class goes on, it gets extremely confusing.

Her lectures will put you to sleep. I constantly found myself getting lost and not even knowing what she's talking about. She says "okay?" after EVERY sentence which gets very annoying. Go to her lectures to find out how to use the calculator, other than that you wont learn much from her.

Lectures are not mandatory if you are smart. 1 quiz, 1 project and 1 final exam. Project is interesting and she marks fairly. Quiz, i scored the lowest out of the three, but it is easy. The Final, is fair, if you understand the material. Material isnt hard, but you must appreciate finance or you will not care. Great course!

Her lectures aren't too interesting, or easy to follow, but the course material really isn't that complex. Two small assignments and one large paper which were marked fairly, easy online quizzes and a final. You WILL need to read 15 chapters by the exam to do well so keep up with readings during the semester, it's tough if you start the day before

The assignment had the requirements set out for you and she marked those fairly, the final she gave you a review which if you used you would do really well on the exam. Shes really fair and a great professor, with an honest effort you will do fine in her class.

I got an A in the course. She bell curves the final. Class avg was in the 60s. Project class avg was 69% which is really low. I never went to any classes, just do all of the chapter readings and problems and you will be fine. The reason why students did poorly was because they did not keep up with the 15+ chapters. Very easy finance class!

Not a good lecturer is her biggest issue. Additionally final was not good in format of questions and the contents of those questions, she needs to change the format to multiple choice.

What's the point of providing a formula sheet for the final exam when almost NONE of it was tested on ? The formulas that we did need, however, were NOT on the sheet -_- . final wasn't extremely difficult but make sure you know your capital ratios for the exam by heart because she does not provide them and expects you to know it.

Great professor, her lectures may be difficult to follow as she goes from topic to topic quickly and it is very important you pay very close attention, she is a very fair marker on both the assignments and the final exam, the exam was not overly difficult as long as you do the assigned chapter questions from each chapter
