Comment:

Sanders is a very tough grader and gives little partial credit points. I enjoyed Calc I (taken elsewhere) but I could not get through this class with her. Office hours were helpful, but exams and HW are hard. Calc II is obviously going to be a difficult class, but I would recommend taking it with someone else especially if you don't enjoy math.

Comment:

For someone who hates math, her class wasn't too bad. There is a homework assignment with a quiz almost every week and she takes off a lot of points for minor errors. However during office hours she will check homework before it's due & tell you what needs to be fixed so you always have an opportunity to get a 100. Book helpful but not required.

DO NOT TAKE HER. I had to withdraw from the class bc her tests were nothing compared to anything we did in class. The majority of our class failed the first test and she yelled at us. Hw and quizzes are hard even if you take lots of notes. Went to her office hours every week and she made me feel stupid bc I didn't know how to even start a problem.

I had to take this course and as a history major, I am NOT a math person. Professor Sanders takes her time and gives great notes and examples in class and is always willing to answer questions. There is homework every week and usually a quiz, but they aren't too bad if you study and go to class. She also gives lots of partial credit!

She is a VERY tough grader. She is willing to help you though. I went to her office hours multiple times and she was very accommodating. I would just not want to take her again because of how strict she is with grading. Also you do not need the book.

I was so scared taking this class because I heard so many horror stories about other Math122 classes/teachers. I actually started out in a different class the first day and knew I had to switch, so I switched into Professor Sanders class. It was the best choice I've ever made. She is a great teacher and explains everything thoroughly!! Take her!!

Comment:

I would not recommend taking Professor Sanders. She cares for her students and is willing to help outside of class but, is an extremely harsh grader. Not only is she a harsh grader but also takes off points if you don't solve it her way. Also, her worksheets are harder than the class example and her exams are harder than the worksheet examples.

Do not take this class!! Business Calc is supposed to be a pretty basic course, but she made it so difficult. Her grading is extremely harsh and every class there is either a quiz or a worksheet due. This means you absolutely can't miss class and doesn't give you a chance to stop and work on material that you might not understand.

Extremely good professor, she gives you worksheets, quizzes, and tests. She gives you homework questions that you do not turn in just for extra learning for the material. As long as you go and take the notes and make sure you understand the material, you should be good. If you have questions, she is willing to answer them and work with you.

she was the worst math teacher I have ever had. she graded so hard and would take points off because you didn't solve the problem the way she wanted. 100% would NOT recommend!!!!!!!!

Hands down the worst professor I have ever had. I'm not even bad at math and this basic level course was almost impossible to pass. She doesn't teach anything, gives a quiz and you have homework every week so if you miss a class you're getting a zero. She gave a test the day before thanksgiving sticking everyone here for 4 extra days. Don't do it.

One of the best math teachers I have ever had- but there are quizzes and worksheets every week. This is a good thing because the class isn't so test heavy, but it is a decent amount of work. Good class for people who aren't great at math

Mrs. Sanders is very organized and clear when explaining different topics. She is always willing to help and because of her, I was able to finally get an A average in an algebra class. Her tests are fairly challenging so be sure to study hard. The good thing is that she gives out practice tests that really help out. Very good professor!

Comment:

Prof Sanders is a great and respected professor. She is very understanding and helps you do nothing but succeed. Attend all her lectures, taker notes and complete your worksheets in time and you. will get a good grade. I am a very very average in math and still I enjoyed her class. You can miss 3 classes and 1 quiz. 3 midterms and 1 final.

Prof Sanders gets a lot of hate. I took her for 122 and the class was hard but she did nothing but make sure I succeeded! She is really caring and wants you to do well, but you have to apply yourself. If you go to class and pay attention, you'll do extremely well. If you had the opportunity to take her, please do!

She grades extremely harshly, taking off points for things completely unnecessary. She gave me a very insulting test grade- one that definitely was not deserved. She was also very rude to me through email. Quizzes and worksheets every week that are hand graded by her... no one ever gets good grades because of her grading. Don't take her.

Ms. Sanders is an amazing Math professor. Her notes and material is perfect. You have worksheet, quizzes and exams for grades. Her material relates to real life examples which makes Math oh so bearable. If you don't like math and need to take a class. Take her, her teaching is literally so clear that you will like math. 11/10 would recommend
